  I highly recommend banking with DNCU. I have been banking with them for years and recently went through the process of refinancing my auto loan through them. Clarissa Miller at the San Mateo branch was so helpful in helping me throughout this process! She took the time to meet with me on several different occasions and explained everything in depth.

  Absolutely the worst banking experience ever. Every other bank in town has at least one branch open except for DNCU. If you call in, the average wait time is 20-30 minutes before getting anyone on the line. Then, that person has to refer you to someone else, etc. I called them on 9/4 asking for a call back from a loan officer. Was told 24 business hours. That would be end of day on 9/8. No call, called 9/9, no call back. Called 9/10 and spoke to Reandre who assured me I would get a call back before 4 pm today. Nope. Please go somewhere else where they actually care about you.

  I have been banking with DNCU for over 10 years and initially chose them because they are a small, local credit union. When I recently bought an auto loan, I went to see DNCU first and I am SO HAPPY that I did. Clarissa at the San Mateo branch was helpful, personable, honest and took her time explaining everything to me. I felt no pressure and had time to consider my choice and feel educated about my decision. This is the kind of banking that everyone deserves; face to face conversations about your money!
