  I called Dave Shelor for a quote and his office was very professional and polite. He gave me detailed information about my current policies, showed me areas he could improve on them and found ways to save me money with better coverage. I didn't feel any pressure to switch companies and it was a pleasant experience. I did decide to switch and the transition was very smooth and simple.   I recently refinanced my home. My mortgage advisor at DCCU told me that my home insurance seemed high and I should consider other options. Nina offered to quote both home and auto and saved me a bundle! Both policies saw a decrease - home by over 1/3 - with added coverages!   This office helped us immensely with the proper insurance coverage for our condo. We were under the impression that we needed renter's insurance, and bought it online. Our settlement was 2 days away. The mortgage company contacted us and this State Farm office and informed us we needed condo insurance. So this company got our money back from the online renter's insurance and got everything squared away. We are now properly insured. We moved from PA to VA. Also very helpful in the changing of auto insurance. Highly recommend

  Getting your daughter switched to her own auto insurance can be a hassle and very frustrating for the parents and the daughter. Dave took the time to explain to her the options she had, provided her with the coverage she needed, at a price she could afford and set it up for autopay monthly so she does not forget to pay on time. This has greatly reduced her anxiety. Thanks Dave and Nina!

  We recently switched our insurance policies to State Farm after having them reviewed by Dave Shelor. Our former policies had been with the same agency for over twenty years and we had never looked around to compare before now. Our insurance costs had always seemed expensive to us, but after adding our teen driver three years ago, it really shot up. Dave was able to offer us a new policy with more coverage and we even added another vehicle at the same time. We are now paying less than half of what our other agency charged us. I’m glad we finally took the time to shop around! This will be a huge savings for us!
