  I love my bank. They have helped me through the ups and downs of life, gave me small and large loans through the storms of life. This past March DATCU help me achieve my greatest dream of life and that is to drive my "CADILLAC!!" They financed my car at a payment I could afford, they made it happen.   I have been a customer of DATCU for only about 3 months and I am so impressed with their companies attention to personally assist their clients, versus everything being so automated. I would like to personally say thank you to Kim Huschke, Assistant Branch Manager for assisting with a recent banking request, as she called me and processed my request quickly.   If you need a friendly, hometown style bank, I highly recommend the DATCU in Highland Village. I've been a customer for about 40 years and it's like "CHEERS"..........everyone knows your name.

  Opened my account January 2019 and will be closing my account this week! This place does not work like my regular bank does. The mobile app and online banking do not sync up with each other. They will have items pending for days. For example, I got $25 in gas the other day while i had the funds available. The item automatically went in to pending. I had $10 left after I got gas and purchased a $7 item using debit. However, I messed up and forgot that i had a $6 bill that automatically comes out of my account so it over drafted me which, yes, was my fault. However, what i don't like is they charge you the overdraft fee automatically instead of giving you time to deposit the money that was over drafted. My regular bank as well as other banks/credit unions I have used will allow you until the end of the business day to deposit the money before charging you the fee. But what really makes me angry about this situation is they charged me 2 fees....because the $25 in gas was still pending when I over drafted, DATCU charged a fee for that item when it finally posted. That is ridiculous! I had the money available for the $25 so I should not be getting a fee for that. Also, I want to point out that I have over 5 years of working in the banking industry, both as a teller and as a personal banker. Of all the financial institutions that I have worked with and used, I've never had problems with them like I have DATCU. P.S. I also don't like the fact that you can't deposit money in their ATM machines.
