      I like Dakotaland Federal Credit Union. I joined several years ago in Brookings and was delighted when the Watertown location opened. Staff members are professional and friendly. Check their competitive mortgage, car and CD rates.

      DO NOT GO HERE for a home loan with Gary Weckwerth . If I could give zero stars I would. A month ago we went here to get a home loan and got our letter of preapproval. Shortly after, we submitted an offer for a home and it was accepted, so we informed Gary. Over the last month our agent has been sending Gary updates about everything we have completed for closing. Today a week before we are suppose to close, he called to inform me he “forgot” to process our loan because he has just been putting it off for so long he forgot about it. I am appalled by this work ethic. By his actions, this is now costing us more money and we have to find a new living arrangement by next week.

      Don't ever reccomend this bank everytime i call to talk they always have an attitude with me never fails. They also pull my money without my consent first. Also anytime you miss a payment by atleast a day they tack on more extra money than it should be. Wish i could give zero stars because that's what it deserves!
