  Curtis septic provided great service. My basement sewer pump failed and I needed the septic tank pumped before the system could be replaced due to a backup. Curtis was able to fit me into the schedule on the same day. Adam, the operator, was on time and professional. Adam took the time to talk to me about the clogged filter in the septic tank and how to clear the filter. I highly recommend Curtis septic and Adam!

  Professional septic system installation and excellent communication. The owner of the company easily convinced me he was the right man for the job with over 35 years in business under the same company name! The price was right as well! Very fair and highly qualified septic company!

  I never write reviews online for company's, but I felt as if it was necessary in this specific instance. I made an appointment with Nikki and Christine, both of whom were very nice over the phone. I made the appointment for a home that I am selling in a Weston. I was given a window of 1:00-3:00pm. I had to call them(instead of the other way around) after waiting for two hours and was told they couldn't find the person who was supposed to be coming to do the inspection. After another 15 minutes I got a call from the 'inspector' who said he would need another 30 minutes at the current job he was completing and he was a little more than 15 minutes away so I would have to wait another 45 minutes, at least, until he arrived. This would have pushed it to later than 4:00pm. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable to say the least. Because of this, I wasted a whole day sitting out at a house to complete inspection before a set closing date. Although they may charge an affordable price for the work being done, this is not good business practice in my book. If you are willing to wait around the house for a while, I supposed they would be a good choice...if you have somewhere to be though, I'd suggest going with someone who will be on time.

  I had my septic back up on me for the second time since we bought our house in 1997. I'm a DIY kind of guy so I went to HD and rented the 75ft snake and cleaned out main line. I did this in 2012 and it has been fine since. This time it worked for only a few days. I read some reviews and Curtis Septic looked like a good bet. I called at around 8:30am and the woman was very professional and knew I sounded like I needed fast service. By 12:00 noon Bobby Voyer arrived to pump our system and check things out. He went the extra mile and checked for blockage in the septic and saved the day!!!

  Professional, ethical, and compassionate is how I would describe the owner of Curtis Septic Service, Andy Curtis. My 1st septic inspection was failed by a local inspector, the 2nd inspection conditionally passed, but the inspector couldn't back up his findings because of a completed perc test completed in my backyard. So the BOH challenged my option to replace the distribution box in my front yard instead of an entire new system. By a miracle, I was researching DEP laws, and trying to research legal advice and found CSS' number. I spoke with Andy who was an expert in septic systems and title 5 inspections. He offered to help me (even though I was @ 75 miles away). He hired expert soil evaluators and engineers to test the soil and water table. He even documented professional photos of the entire system. In a few weeks he'll be appearing before my town's BOH hearing to proof my system doesnt have a high water table in the front yard and that my septic system passes Title 5 standards as long as the d-box is replaced. I'm forever grateful for Andy's motivation as an industry leader to improve the accuracy of Title 5 inspections by passing new legislation to protect honest, competent inspectors and installers along with protecting the public from unnecessary repairs and costs.
