  CrossCountry Mortgage is a great company to seek a mortgage with. I was given the contact information for Richard Kimball and his team by my prospective builder. I had a unique situation where I needed a letter of confirmation in order for my builder to begin building, but needed 6 months to clear a debt that would prevent me from a loan in the amount needed. My conversation with Rich was very positive. He said there is no problem handling this. Everything went perfect. 9 months later when the house was built, my mortgage closed without any issues!

  This company mismanaged my escrow for years. Stuck me me a $6k tax bill on top of asking for another $10k for the year. They insisted on $15k for a $6.3k taxes. When I called to get it fixed they said I don't know what I'm talking about. They are a garbage company. Never go with them. Pick a more reputable lender. Buyer beware! When I see adds for them on social media I comment DON'T USE THEM and how they mismanaged. They delete my comments each time. They don't want any customers telling others how badly they treat you.

  I cannot recommend the Rich Kimball team of Cross Country Mortgage enough! I worked with Gunnar Dunlap and Kelsey Banks who delivered incredible service. Gunnar was the one who honestly made buying our first home as pleasant as it was! He called us to check in weekly even if there was no news, he responded promptly to my emails, calls, texts, etc. He was SO thorough and paid attention to every little detail - which made all the difference. Overall, I can say they will probably be our team forever because it was such a great experience.

  When it came time to buy our first home, we were talking to a few lenders. Then after hearing from a friend about CrossCountry & speaking with Rich, we decided to go with them. We are glad we did! Each step of the process was explained to us, any & all questions we had were answered. The icing on the cake was receiving a beautiful custom cutting board after our closing. I’ve heard about others mortgage processes being a nightmare, that was the exact opposite of our experience. We will be recommending CrossCountry Mortgage to anyone who asks in the future!   We have worked with CrossCountry three times now. Each time the process has been timely and staff has been friendly! The office is comfortable and they offer snacks, water, hot tea while you settle in to sign boatloads of documents. Also if you like digital communication this team is on it! It really works for us so I would recommend them any time. As of July 2020, we completed a refinance and the process was great. Despite a few bumps in the process, none were due to CrossCountry and they stayed in communication about everything the whole time. Definitely recommend.

  We had to pleasure of working with Gunnar Dunlap and his team at CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC. My wife and I had a very limited amount of time to move from out-of-state, with two babies (under 2 years old.) Needless to say, we have our hands full and needed a smooth transition. Working with Richard Kimball's team, specifically Gunnar, could NOT have been easier! Communication is handled very efficiently and openly. Everyone I spoke with was positive and honest, and they even surprised us with some gifts along the way! CrossCountry Mortgage is very clear on what was needed on our end, and everything was handled very quickly.   CrossCountry Mortgage was incredible to deal with. I worked mostly with Gunnar and he was great. I didn’t know a lot about the process of buying a house and he made obtaining a loan and researching information very easy. He walked me through every step and was sure to explain it so I was able to understand it. He looked into a variety of factors and was able to get me the best possible rate. He was extremely friendly and personable. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking to obtain a mortgage. I also had a great experience with everyone else I worked with at CrossCountry. Maggi McCoy, the senior processor, was also very friendly and responsive. Both Maggi and Gunnar were very easy to get a hold of and were timely in their responses.

  I personally think that kindness goes a long way. Working with my loan originator, Gunnar, was truly a wonderful experience. He took his time explaining the loan process to me. He talked me through my options and didn't try to "sell me," and discussed what made sense for me. His entire team was professional and great to work with. Their loan application platform was also very user friendly. The secure portal allowed me to share required documentation, which made things a lot faster and more efficient. If you're looking for a mortgage loan or even just inquiring about a mortgage loan, I recommend CrossCounty Mortgage. I'm very happy with their service. They definitely went above and beyond.
