  As both a licensed realtor and the buyer in a transaction, I can say that this was the worst mortgage experience I have ever gone through. The lender consistently misled us, omitted important information regarding our loan, was unavailable for over 24 hours on closing day, and repeatedly missed deadlines, including delivering the Closing Disclosures within the mandatory 3 day wait period sending our escrow into a Cure Period. We were horrified with the manner in which they conducted themselves and were so cavalier about missing deadlines. After they knew they had missed the CD 3 day wait period, the loan officer had the audacity to say that we wouldn't understand what the issue was and downplayed that it was only "an internal RESPA failure". After doing research we learned that they just missed the deadline to give us the CD documents on time to adequately review them before COE. After learning of this lie, we stopped dealing with the branch manager, Jeanine Roberts, and began working with Norman Koenigsberg, the Executive VP, who wasn't much better and was unable to get it to the finish line. This has been an incredibly stressful situation that we hope no one else ever has to repeat. We were fortunate that we did not have our current home sold, so we were able to stay in our existing home, We could not imagine the amount of stress had we have sold our current home throughout this process and would be essentially homeless. After amending the COE date with the seller three times, and receiving a 3-Day Cure Notice, the lender still did not provide the CD on time, and we ultimately lost the home. BUYER BEWARE OF USING CROSS COUNTRY MORTGAGE!!

  Everyone on their team has been absolutely amazing throughout our home buying process! Every team member I’ve encountered is extremely polite, knowledgeable and helpful. We are first time home buyers and the process is overwhelming, but this company is quick to respond and so helpful and patient with my many questions. Highly recommend!

  Run Far AWAY ! IF you enjoy people who can't pick up a phone these are your go toos ! Not only are they unpleasant and unprofessional they NEVER get back with you it's almost impossible to get in contact with these people please take your business and time else where because it's not worth the hassle seriously. I would give 0 stars if I could.
