Chris Balderrama5Kelly, was absolutely the most knowledgeable lender I’ve ever worked with. Kelly answered all my question with the highest professionalism. She also went above and beyond for me one day before closing on my house and it was much appreciated. Thank you again Kelly and Crestmark mortgage for making my house purchase with Perry homes a dream come true.

gabriel ybarra11. Questions took days to be answered 2. The lock in rate was very convoluted - I understand it was a TX Vet, however it varied from the website. It was almost as if the rate was going down which in essence did not fit the agenda and would cause Crestmark to lose money once they sold the loan. We were given 30 day, 30-45 days, and 37 days. 3. After several request to be educated on the APR vs. the mortgage rate I had follow up questions as to whether or not I could bring money to the table to narrow close the gap and not pay so much in the 1st year of the loan. I asked about 5 times. Question was answered after we closed. 4. The sales rep and Crestmark must not communicate on specific veteran related issues. I was explicitly told that as a 100% VA disabled vet, that my tax exemption paperwork would carry over or transfer. It was both before closing and after I asked. More of a complaint on closing day is when it was explained to me that is not the case and I’d have to fill out the paperwork and do it all on my own. No big deal just principal. What grinds my nerves is I gave underwriting department the same exact paperwork that the tax office would require. An additional form was needed as was explained after the fact. Why could this not be done in conjunction with closing process as it was right there in their hands. 5. The closing date kept changing due to construction delays. Completely fine and understandable. However, once it was know that they had us under contract, everyone from the sales rep, the realtor to Crestmark did not communicate at all and we felt left in the dark hunting for answers. 6. I understand coincidences and or timing, however on 3-5 occasions we were given timelines on things expected to be reviewed, resolved or updates. It just so happened that once we made the call, sent the inquiry, or emails near the close of business on the last day or day after, they’d just so happen to be reviewing it or it was being handled. I even got the I was just going to call you right before you called. I felt very undermined and or as I was being patronized. 7. It almost felt as if our young age in combination with credit and qualifications that met the TX Vet loan that offered a lower interest rate was something that was not taken seriously and that we should be content with the low rate already being offered. Instead of working with vets to get the best possible rate even if that is within a week of closing and up to 30 days would be a nice to have I understand but in good faith to our disabled service members I think Crestmark can afford to bite the bullet financially one the one offs in conjunction with every other loan offered . Just good for PR too. I kept all emails and transcripts that will help to corroborate this

MissCarli5We used Crestmark to finance our Perry home and mortgage team exceeded our expectations! The easy-to-navigate app allows customers to upload their documents at the beginning of the loan process and keeps them available for the processors use. Everett E. and Carmen E. communicated with me throughout the process and when it came time to close Shirley M. made sure my packet made it to the underwriters to ensure I had an on time closing. From start to finish my experience was simply amazing!

Ryan Jones1A nightmare of an experience. Not my first home purchase but boy did they run me through the ringer. I did have a loan open around my closing date but Our family of five were moving from SC and had issues with our military move. They asked for so much documentation over and over again then after all the documentation they had my income wrong and refused to use the bank statements they asked for as proof?!?!? Our closing date came and passed without any notification. We had to move from our hotel to a different one and finally closed 3 days later. Worst home buying experience ever. Truly felt like they had something out for me as the questions kept coming and coming and in the end I felt my complaints to multiple Texas agencies motivated them closing my loan. If you have to get money from a bone breaking loan shark instead of dealing with these people.... truly consider it.
