Anissa Green-McCall1If I could rate this Banking branch a Perfect 0, I would. First, let me start of my saying, I had the worst experiences ever with this bank. One more than one occasion, there was an issue with my account--not on my part--. 1. I called the provided number and they are not open (by phone or by branch) on the weekends. So I had to wait until Monday to speak to someone live. I go in and explain my situation to the teller and he was no help at all. He automatically gave me the option of taking my money out of their bank or a $2 convenience fee credited to my account. I asked to speak to a manager and there was not one on site. So I called the number again. Spoke to someone from the administration, same results....I took my money and parted ways. It is sad when the customer gets screwed over and to make matters worse was offered no apologies, no waived fee's, nothing. I was not at fault. My monies could not be accessed at all due to an error on the bank part. So if you are looking for a bank that will manage your funds correctly, be available when help is needed and show responsibility FIRST BANK IS NOT THE BANK FOR YOU. Try Wells Fargo or PNC Bank.

Michelle Fordham5I have had only great experiences with First South Bank. The representatives are always friendly and answer all of my questions. A person actually calls if they see questionable usage on your account. I once received a call about a suspicious charge of less than $2. I have referred customers to First South through the years due to their outstanding and personable customer service.

Stephen Rhodes1Started working with Tracey Smith on Commerical Loans and the communication from the get go was very spotty. Once she had all she needed to move forward on our loan she randomly calls my business partner to discuss the scenario (as if we didn’t already know) and to elaborate on dynamics of our partnership. After putting that into consideration if we were still going to work with her we sent several emails and text saying we’d still like to move forward. After no responses repeatedly we’ve decided this has been the worst experience ever and a COMPLETE waist of our time.

Kristalyn Heath1I wouldn’t even give this bank one star ! This is the 3rd time they have changed their name in 4 years I have been banking here for 4 to 5 years , this is the final straw with me , I wasn’t notified , nothing in the mail was sent had to be late to work so I can get money for gas and the next day after they printed off a new card , guess what , it’s doesnt work so I’ve called and the wait time is 40-60 minutes sorry but I can’t drive back and forth between my 2 jobs to help you figure out what’s going on with my money ! Don’t bank here .

Duane Hansley1Had the worse experience ever with this bank. You can not ever reach someone, you must leave a message for them to contact you. When they do 1 person tells you one thing. When you speak with the branch you get a complete different explanation. As far as a fee for anything is concerned you might as well forget getting a refund. Bank error is evidently your fault as far as First South Bank is concerned. I also have an account at PNC bank and they are much easier to deal with and the technology is like night and day. PNC always has someone you can speak with and they are willing to help in anyway possible. Stay clear of FIRST SOUTH BANK!

Devin Staats-Walker1Terrible Customer service and also their online support team just gives you the run around. I also called yesterday around 4:30 pm to transfer money and I was placed on hold until the store closed and they just hung up the phone. Garbage.
