Joe Callantine2The only credit union in town. They do not do co-op withdraws inside. The ATM was being "balanced" after which, i was toldi could make a withdraw. After 20 minutes of waiting the service person leaves and now the ATM is totally broken.

Eric Pierson2I, too, wish they offered a local number, like they always did before the CU of CO buyout. I'm 32nd in line to speak to someone on the phone - it would be quicker to drive to my branch to simply ask my question. C'mon CU of CO - calling thru Denver to be put on hold for 30+ minutes just doesn't cut it. Be responsive to your Durango customers and provide a local number.

When you don’t have time to wait on hold, you have a few options. You are welcome to connect with individual employees directly through the phone name directory. You can also chat with us through our website or schedule a call back at a time that is more convenient for you. Credit Union of Colorado provides service to our members regardless of location through these various channels, and members have many choices on how they prefer to do business with us.

Sydney Melson5I've had nothing but positive experiences with CUofCO. Yes they don't provide a local phone number, and yes the wait to reach someone in Denver takes a long time, but their mobile app allows you to text someone through Zendesk. Anyone you talk to through Zendesk can resolve your problems the same as if you called someone. I also have an auto loan through them, it was a very straightforward process.

Fred Acosta1If you are looking for a car loan DO NOT go through Credit Union of Colorado. Respectfully speaking, they are the most incompetent automotive lending staff we have ever dealt with (and we use many different credit unions). You will receive conflicting information depending on who you speak with, they don't know how to properly calculate tax when applicable, and to complete the loan requires an act of congress. Do yourself a favor and research other financial institutions for your next auto loan.

S B5I highly recommend! I switched from Wells Fargo a few years ago and I am so glad I did! I would have started with them if I would have known! A M A Z I N G ! & Erin at the GJ location is the absolute greatest!

Laura San2I sure wish they had a local number. We bank with them and when we want to call them our call goes all the way to DENVER first. And not only that when we were in the negative they charge for every payment that was taken out and Nusenda credit union did not do that! I hope they have a heart soon!!!!

L A1Horrible bank!!!!!! Very very unprofessional with work ethic and attire. I had 3 fraudulent charges on my account on 2 separate debit cards and was never notified about it and had to pay for new debit cards when it's a banks responsibility to keep your acct safe, you'll sit in the drive through at least 20 minutes every time. They charge you a fee if someone gave you a check with non sufficient funds. You will be very frustrated if you decide to bank here

Woods Hyslop3Before the switch over to the new bank I would have given them more stars because the individuals who work at the bank location in Durango really do work FOR the customer... but now not being able to easily call the bank location I need, not being able to speak to someone local quickly is really a pain and not customer service friendly. I went from feeling like doing business there was prioritized and now I feel like I am just a number. Very disappointed.

Veronica Lasater5Our first home buying experience was anything but easy, so we went into our second purchase prepared for a roller-coaster ride, but Brenna Morlan at Southwest Colorado Federal Credit Union made everything so easy from start to finish. She almost made it too easy! ;) Brenna worked quickly, followed up frequently and always kept us in the loop! She was available to answer all our questions and did it with grace and patience. Sabra A2Husband and I are new to town so we went to this branch because they participate in shared branching with the banks we have accounts with from our previous location. We had a check made out to both of us AND both of us were present but they refused to deposit it into either of our accounts unless both names were on the account. This is particularly annoying because as a married couple, this scenario has happened before and our previous bank had no problem depositing a check made out to both parties as long as both parties were present. So we said ok, then we’ll open a joint account. They said not today because we’re closing in 15 min. They were actually closing in 30 min, and I understand that it’s the end of the day and you want to go home but I have a job too and when people need things from me just prior to closing time I still help them. It’s all about the level of customer service you’re willing to offer. In this case, the customer service was extremely poor, which wasn’t actually a huge surprise considering that the teller ‘helping’ us was wearing a pink camo sweatshirt. Not exactly business casual. You pick up on everything when you go to a business for the first time and that was the first red flag. We decided to open our new accounts elsewhere.
