Family treated disrespectful. Family not told of private viewing. Executor of the estate left the family out of every decision. Steve Snow didn't include the family in any arrangements. Steve Snow only cared about getting paid. My mother had to sign over the life insurance. I don't recommend this funeral home to anyone. They're terrible.

We, Van and Cindy Dearmin want to express our gratitude to Cox-Needham Funeral Home. They have taken care of our families for years with great respect and love. Steve Snow assisted the Reid family with my son 26 years ago, my dad in ‘99 and just recently my mother in December 2021. Steve also took care of Van’s parents, his wife and his father-in-law. No one could have treated us any better. To talk to Steve is like talking to your best friend or a family member. You just know he has your best interests at heart. He is the reason we use Cox-Needham. Steve’s honesty, professionalism and knowledge, and his dedication to the families he serves are what makes this funeral home a great choice. Cindy Reid Dearmin

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Worst experience of our entire families life during an unexpected passing. Our family have used their service for over 75 years and will not be returning. In all honesty I have waited to post this for some of the anger and hurt to settle. I feel as a community member I need to share the experience of mine and my sister with Cox and Needham funeral home. During the whole funeral planning process we were hounded for payment before the service even after supplying them with signed documentation and policy numbers for life insurance to be used for her service. The funeral director, Steve Snow, went as far as to call 45 minutes before the last time we would see our mom and the start of the service to state if we did not bring the all money before the service it would simply not be held. I’ve never been so hurt in my entire life. I imagine we were singled out due to our young age. Fortunately, my mom always told me to save for a rainy day and paying for her service out of pocket was not an issue. It is sad we were forced to do that as she had policies in place to prevent this, but Cox and Needham did not do their job on ensuring the payment and forcing us to instead deal with the ramification of their decisions not to have any professionalism. I caution any and everyone dealing with death of a loved one to avoid this funeral home as to them it is not about the loss, but the money. In reality, death should teach you one principle all the money in the world will never save you from death or bring back a loved one. This funeral home is heartless and provided our family with no peace. They did not even have the decency to provide us with pamphlets that held the correct name and dates of the service. Please avoid this place if you would like to feel any version of peace in the event of someone passing. People should know the truth before using this funeral home service.

I just want to thank Steve Snow for helping me while I carried out Mary Taylor's final wishes Steve an all the rest at Cox-Needham were alot of help to me while I did everything that Mary asked me to do a couple months before her passing. This has been the hardest thing I think I have ever had to do but Steve,Linda an Tom were very caring and I think they understood what I was going through so they were alot of support. I've seen a couple more comments on here that are not even so about Steve at all! Steve I want to especially give my thanks to you cause I would recommend you anytime in a case like this.

Office staff is wonderful; however, the funeral director was very disrespectful. During the arrangements, all he worried about was how fast he could get us in and out. He had no compassion at all. I would not recommend this funeral home to anyone.

One fiasco after another 1 had to haggle price for cremation only My mom was almost 95 all her friends are gone or out of area and unable to travel 2 total lack of communication within the staff Incorrect spelling of name had to correct several times 3 Contract most important sign pay etc 4 credit card machine not in working order my brother was paying and had bank on the phone? Nothing works So he went to the bank in pilot got a certified check and took it back to cox Needam All is well Not 2 hours later I got an email with correct spelling on contract with a note to sign and send credit card information???? I sent information Check with director this is paid in full already 😳 Then later I called to check on ashes First Lady said due in tomorrow Second person a man said he was to pick up that evening This was day after First Lady Then I got an email stating they’re here ready for pick up???? I waited another day and picked up Death certificates were to be mailed I called to check and they were in so I went every one nice I took a copy sent rest to my brother in Florida Then on way out a gentleman asked me to come with him I did he sat me at a table and shoved papers in front of me to sign I asked what is this Contract to embalm😳 I looked at names I didn’t know them So I said no I am not signing he asked why?? First of all this isn’t my family and second you already cremated my mom you will have a hell of a time embalming her He apologized but perhaps introducing yourself first and asking if I am here for John Doe might be a better option than shoving another contract in my face Would I recommend Absolutely nou

They disrespected the family members of a loved they never told us about the viewing of our loved one and told someone that is not even a family member so our family doesn't even get to say our last goodbye so before you decide to choose this place think twice please
