  Coach provided an overalll terrible customer experience and service--buyer beware of bully tactics and untimely servicing. This company has allowed it's agent, Peter Bailey, to threaten the cancellation of my HOI due to their own incompetence and overpayment. I closed on my refinance on 10/06/21; the closing costs included 9 months of HOI premium and the check was overnighted to Couch for payment. My policy was pending a 12:01 AM 10/12/21 cancellation due to non payment and as of 10/11/21 no payment was reflected on my account. To avoid cancellation, I paid the 3 months balance due and notified my title company; the title company put a stop payment on the original check to Couch. In order to collect their agent's comission and although my account was current, Couch dilligently paid an additional 9 months of premium on 10/14/21 resulting in a 3 month overpayment (note their payment was applied 3 days after the 10/12/21 effective date per the cancellation notice). Then Bailey threatened to cancel my policy if I do not reimburse Couch for 9 months of premium. I authorized a reimbursement for 6 months of premium as a sign of good faith being that I had yet to receive the 3 month reimbursement from the insurance company. Bailey refused the reimbursement and continued to demand the funds in full and threaten the cancellation of my policy. However, when I refused to front the 3 months of premium, Bailey chose not to follow through with his threats. This speaks great volumes to his right to cancel my policy under these circumstances. Moral of the story: know your rights and do not let yourself be taken advantage of by an insurance agent or anyone. My insurance company mentioned changing agents is typically done during policy renewal. However, when I mentioned the events that transpired they approved my request and put me in contact with local agents to complete my transfer. Thank you for the undue stress, untimely payment processing, and policy cancellation threats. It is laughable Couch's motto is "Experience … Diligence … Professionalism … "

  They dropped a non-profit organization (thats been around 30 years) that I am affiliated with after some new laws were passed that would change out coverage needs, and now refuse to provide us insurance after being customers for years with no claims.

  This insurance firm is a joke. Through my parent affiliate, Couch Braunsdorf is a company that we as brokers are to utilize as a wholesaler. The problems that I incurred with them on just a few accounts are unbelievable. They are not responsive, their rating for exposures is usually wrong, the service department does not call you back and if you have a serious problem, they avoid you like the plague. They are dead set against going the extra mile and helping your customer . I had a situation where I was working with them to try and collect an unjust fee that my client was charged and instead of helping me, they cut off my access to them and their portal because they couldn't handle the reality of the situation. They actually got mad on the playground and took their ball and went home. The management here is insecure, unprofessional and childish. Do not utilize them as a direct broker or wholesaler for your business. You will be sorry. Mark my words.

  Terribly disappointed with the HORRIBLE service my clients received from Couch Braunsdorf. I am an insurance agent, and I used them to broker a policy package for one of my business clients. CB was consistently and awfully SLOW on service requests, often taking 4-5 business days for basic certificate requests. When I complained to their service dept, I got rude and short emails in reply. The WORST thing is that these incompetent people cost me business. My client just cancelled their package with my Agency, they reported that their only reason for cancelling was the super slow service turn times. Thanks for nothing, Couch Braunsdorf. I will never place business with you again.

  After being with the same insurance agent for many years, I decided to call Couch Braunsdorf for a home and auto quote. They were fantastic and were able to shop several different markets. My account executive was able to beat my current rate while adding coverages I didn't know I was missing. I would definately recommend Couch Braunsdorf to all my friends and family.
