  Kevin and his team were absolutely wonderful during our year long home buying process. This was our first time buying a home and Kevin and his team took the extra time to explain everything to us in detail and make sure we understood.   Craig Ronning as his team were great. He reached out to me early by telephone and actually spoke with me, which is becoming a rarity these days. The other loan company we were prequalified with chose to only communicate with us by email.That was unacceptable to me, but that is my point of view from my generation. I was also happy that I was advised to lock in my rate early as the rates went up twice within 3 weeks.

  While jumping through all the hoops of preapproval, approval, and underwriting (as a self employed individual) was at times a chore, Craig and team stayed on us to keep us AHEAD of our timeline. They had us closed and funded within a month and a half of starting the process. We are so grateful for their help during this process!   Over the last 10 years we have purchase 5 homes and refinanced once. All of this was done through Cornerstone Home Lending. We have worked with John Koch very closely on the last several loans. He is kind, friendly, and professional. He is easy to work with and has made our home lending and buying experiences very simple. We have recommended cornerstone to several friends and would do so again. Buying a home can be stressful and time consuming, cornerstone does a great job of communicating and recommending, so that it’s just easier and less stressful. I would use Cornerstone again over any other bank or mortgage company.
