Ivan S3I was thinking of refinancing my auto 🚗 🛻 loan with then. Prior to the call 📞 I've been doing business with them for years. I was upset that in order to take advantage of their 2.49%, an individual has to be around 780 or higher in credit score in order to qualify. My credit fell short by a few points and rates change on Monday after Juneteenth of 2022. And, by falling short it jumps to 2.89% when my rate is at 2.99% Didn't make sense to run my credit for a miserable .10%. I'll still shop around.

Courtney G1Terrible business practice and terrible customer experience. Refinanced my car with CU and it took the person MONTHS to not only complete my loan after endless amounts of calls with no resolution. Javier offered me a credit into my new account for the trouble, but NEVER saw that credit. Now as I called to pay off my loan, they took out TWICE the amount that I had authorized them for the loan!!

Gustavo Mejia1Terrible customer service on the phone and all I have are problems with the line of credit automatic payments, I set the auto payment the I get an email and later a mail saying that I’m enrolled the with in weeks I receive I mail saying that I’m unenrolled and by that time my payment is late and I have to pay 30.00 dollars for late payment. This is so wrong. Ready to change bank

Belinda1This credit union is an absolute headache. Had to pay $10 to deposit a check into my account from a non member because their employees are not efficient, and do not resolve inquiries within the same business day. I have been working with Jamie V. For over a week now, and she can’t seem to finish a simple task. I have asked to speak to a manager, and I have yet to hear from them. I have sent secured messages, I have called, and I have emailed different people within the branch, and have not been able to add my husband to my bank account. Phone calls are never returned, voicemails are non functioning, and emails are never returned. This credit union is the primary example of a non efficient, and non reliable, horrid customer service credit union. Do not recommend them by any means.

Rock 01I can see from the reviews I'm not the only one here being treated like they aren't needed here. I have a auto loan, home loan. 2 savings accounts, checking account, and credit card with these people. Nothing but problems over the last year and I've been with them a long time. First started with fighting with them to get a credit line increase. Good credit and plenty of income. Took 3 times and 6 months to get it. Than was the motorcycle loan, gave them proof of insurance 2 times and so did my insurance company... still charging me for no insurance. After that was the home loan battle which went from should be no problem, was trying to refinance. I have paid off more then 30k on the current loan and the house is worth almost 100k over what's owed. I make double what I made when i got the original loan and have the same loans still that I had when i got the original loan and a better credit score. I was told I don't make enough and the value of the home isn't enough.. Than I missed one payment 3 months ago. Saw it and made the payment. First missed payment on anything. Apparently thier system doesn't show you that you missed anything unless you look at your statement. Not your transactions or the dashboard. So when you make your minimum payment it's not reflected. They than closed my account without notice. That took fighting and threatening to pull everything I have for them to fix it. Everytime I deal with them they just sat oh I'm sorry. I don't want to hear sorry I want things fixed. Not worth the cost of time and money to deal with this place.

pookie D1I used to be very happy banking with consumers credit union . But I am extremely unsatisfied with the customer service I have been given about getting an overpayment on a paidoff car loan that is due to me. To make a long story short, I have been given the run around by several employees, I was told that they can do nothing for me, than I was told I needed to wait 14 days for the check to clear for them to pay me back for a payment that should have never been taken out of my account. Nobody will call me back I’ve left several messages for them, it’s been well over a month and I’ve yet to see the $300 that is owed to me, my next step is to go to corporate or the BBB. I’m done playing their games.

April J.4Although Consumers Credit Union has not been without issues, some of which I've taken up the ladder to their executives to address, I appreciate keeping my banking local, being able to go into my local branch and talk to the same personnel, and NOT having to deal with the large, banking institutions.

Christian Rico1Ever since they updated their website I am unable to make a payment online for my car loan. I try to call and make a payment through phone but can never get through to anyone. Consumers credit union does not make it easy for the consumer at all.

LeeAnn Magwitz-Lucassen1My fiance and I purchased a new vehicle and went with the dealer financing to get the added discount and planned to refinance in 3 months. 2 days after buying our car, consumers called my fiance since he has an account with them and said they could refinance it now for a better deal. We started the process, but we were then told we had to wait for the registration to come in the mail. We waited a few weeks and once it came, we reapplied online like we were told to do. Two days later, we were contacted and asked all the same exact question we had been asked and filled out online. The women said she would enter the information and get back to us. Two more days later she calls my fiance after we called her several times, and says we are approved, but cant give us the interest rate or monthly payment amount. She asks us to provide more information, so we do. Three more days go by and we still haven't heard a word back. She isnt returning phone calls or emails. If we call the bank directly, they put us through to someone's voicemail and no one ever calls back. Today we recieved paperwork in the mail requesting we sign it and mail it back so they can transfer the vehicle title from the original bank that holds the loan to consumers. Ummm nooooo! We have no idea what the loan interest or payments are still, we haven't signed any paperwork approving the loan, and we STILL have no heard back from anyone at consumers. What a joke.

Chris Carlson5Great customer service! Always greeted at the door with a smile and the tellers are friendly and efficient. I have an auto loan through them also. I highly recommend checking here first for your next loan before you go anywhere else.
