  Questions about s.s.checks why can you send back a check without having a Death certificate. It is not your place to do so it is the family's job to send it back if needed. It was not needed now it is a 3month wait to do paperwork and mail in to s.s office. For your information those checks are paid a month behind ,so feb. Is paid in March. If this is a policy of your i would love to read it because you just put more stress on people when they don't need it. Upset 😡 member

  Great Bank only problem I have is if you have multiple accounts on vehicles and you do a voluntary repossession on one of the vehicles because payments are too high. They will not let you pay payments online you have to call so they can charge you more money to process same with a debit card! They do not explain this at all . There is no cwcc in fort Wayne which means I will have to drive 45 miles to pay in person! That is not fair! Or set up automatic payments which is kind of hard to do when you only get paid 2 weeks and seems like it's never close to the due date! They need to fix that problem if you're paying them you shouldn't have to pay extra just to pay a payment!

  This bank is very difficult to work with, my parents took out a loan as senior citizens and it seemingly was a perpetual loan in regards to this bank. My parents were certain the loan was paid off and then a year later (on 2 DIFFERENT OCCASIONS) receive a collections letter that the account was past due!! They are very unprofessional on the phone- I was hung up on 2 times while trying to permanently close this perpetual loan!!! This bank is certainly not on the side of it's patrons! I do not recommend this bank for any financial purposes!

  Sent out paperwork late, gave us the late fee, was told about it, said they would correct, and when our car was totaled came back on us for $105. Not a ton of money, but in this case we feel it was extorted and not our fault at all. CommunityWide should be ashamed of themselves if this is a regular occurrence and we will most definitely never be back. In our situation, we feel that we were taken advantage of and that they knew full well that we wouldn’t fight it (legally) for only $105. What an absolute travesty that in 2020 this is allowed to happen.

  The staff at my Elkhart location are very professional and respectful. They have been helpful and knowledgeable with any questions or concerns I've had. Easy to do business with them.

  Teller was not knowledgeable at all got her manager and still couldn't handle a legal copy cashier's check drawn out of their own place she ended up calling about 4 or 5 people on the phone to ask and still nothing.. i was treated like a fraud took the check to my bank i was just trying to avoid the wait untill it cleared for some reason i thought it would be easier... I was completely wrong.. people need to be educated on their everyday tasks so they can provide knowledgeable and polite service
