  This bank is amazing when it comes to customer service and Bonnie she deserves more than 5 starts. I reached out to get assistance with my loan account and Bonnie ended up helping me with my account and helped open up a new loan. She worked really fast and we got my loans paperwork completed way before the end of the day. She is definitely saved in my contact list for when I need help at the bank. Overall the bank is great and Bonnie makes it easier to bank there.

  I have been coming to Community First CU for more than a year now and I am so impressed and grateful for the customer service I have been provided! I first purchased a car through them at an exceptional interest rate and soon switching my banking locally as well. Bonnie the branch manager is always so friendly, calls me by name before I'm even at the window. She has gone above and beyond to help and assist me with all of my banking. She follows up with me promptly and is never shy to extend a hand or get me answers to my many questions. Her service has been above my expectations and I couldn't be any happier and always know my banking and security is in the BEST hands! Bonnie has treated me with so much respect always, regardless of how busy she is! Thank you again Bonnie and Community First!

  Community First has a really easy process on applying/getting approved for loans. Bonnie C from the College Ave Branch helped me finalize my personal loan and also helped me refinance my car. I saved so much thanks to her and staff. Made it quick and painless. Definitely recommend if you have a high APR on your car loan.

  CFCU has been such a great credit union to deal with over the last 10 years. From personal assistance through vehicle loans to friendly service at every branch, they’ve been great! Recently Bonnie helped me with a wire transfer and her prompt and thorough response was a breath of fresh air compared to other banking services out there. Fan for life!

  We chose Community First for financing to buy our property and recently worked with them to complete a refi. It was a pleasure to work with them both times. Much more streamlined than working with a large bank. Our mortgage officer, Sue Black, was fantastic to work with, and the team at Community First made the whole process easy!

  I love this place! I have been banking here for years and the service is always phenomenal! They always have the newest tech and the staff is amazing and always so helpful! Bonnie and Gina are the best! They really go out of their way to help you. You won’t find a better credit Union (or bank) anywhere!

  My experience with these crooks started with a car loan. Shortly after getting that loan I cut all ties and bank with Redwood Credit Union now. Since then every single interaction I have had with them they have been rude. Getting a loan with them was the worst financial decision I have ever made. There idea of customer service is that if a teenager. Every time I call in I have to give them every bit of information and my first born child to get an answer out of them. I no longer go into any of the branches to make payments on the two loans I have with them cause they are so rude. Even calling in to make payments they charge a fee and are so rude I feel they should be paying me to talk to them. I never did anything to deserve this treatment. I haven’t missed a car payment on any of my loans in 7 years. I will never bank with them again and neither should you.

  I've been with this bank since I was 15, I am 26 A lot of the workers are very nice and polite individuals and I never had any issues with the bank for years. Over time the service here has become unbearably condescending and unhelpful. The assistant manager and manager of this branch are completely unresponsive to issues I face and have no solutions to issues such as my card randomly being shut off for "fraud" in the middle of major business trips and vacations even after I have called in multiple times confirming it is not fraud Very pretentious individuals who do not care about you as a human being, they take criticism of the companies services extremely personally and do not care if their branch makes repeated mistakes that waste your time and test your patience They act just like a corporate bank at the end of the day, it's all about them, and will never care about your wellbeing or your family

  I write to commend Bonnie Carretero, assistant manager at the College Avenue branch. Over the past year I've had a number of weird banking issues to deal with for an aging parent. Bonnie has always been available to help us, and help she did every time. She's a skilled listener and communicator, and because of her deep knowledge of the institution and banking, she has solved every dilemma swiftly and positively. She's also very kind. I have been with CFCU since the mid-1990's. Over the years I've moved all my baking there, gotten car loans, and more recently a mortgage. I do all this because there are people like Bonnie there.
