Community Bank, N.A. Reviews

Megan Wenner1Absolutely horrendous. I've had nothing but problems with this bank. I've set up overdraft protection countless times and they assured me that if I didn't have sufficient money in the bank, it would not charge my account. I have been being billed many times with insufficient funds and since my bills are automated (I don't have an option), they come out around times of the month that I don't have much money. So then I get hit with an overdraft charge. The bank has constantly told me they put overdraft protection but they evidently lie through their teeth. Just recently they finally exposed themselves and told us that they do that because that's how they make money. We will be going to a different bank. Save yourself the money.

Cameron Marshall (AFTRDETH)1This is a continuation to a previous review made by my wife's account. New information needs to be added. Yesterday we received a phone call from a lady with this bank regarding my last Google Review. She was never authorized to call which means she looked up my name and got my personal contact information and called me to question my review. Right off the bat all I could think of was how extremely unprofessional that was. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if she called again. I was ver irate as most people would be. She called me for no reason and left a message to my mom that the call was important. When it turned out just to be about my review. She tried arguing that my account was "never" overdrafted and I put my husband on the phone and she continued arguing about it with him. She completely gaslighted us. I've already told her that I will be changing bank accounts but I'm gonna have to stay vigilant. It would be unacceptable if a business called someone regarding a negative review. This is not okay. You don't just get to decide to call someone if you don't like their review. I'm not entirely sure what she was trying to achieve with that phone call but it didn't get her anywhere other than making me more mad. If anything else should happen I will be adding on to this. Message to her: Do not call me. Or I will pursue this further.
