double 0 star for this bank. My partner bought an item from victoria secret, and with checking out signed up for this Angel card for a discount, as the clerk said there wouldnt be any other bills / payments due or any type of monthly subscription of any kind after this transaction. All was good until a week later she recieved a bill in the mail for this item for a small amount plus late fee. she called the number on the card and it was this Comenity bank. Along with its rude and impatient customer service, they demanded my partner to pay this fake bill/ late fee on that same phone call. at this point she has had it, and paid the amount via mail just to get it over with. Its whats right , right ? again a week later in the mail she receieves another bill for a larger amount than the last. again they demanded over the phone to pay it and still call to this day (pretty much every day , with a different phone number from different states, unknown or unavailable #) stating its comenity bank asking for payment of this fake bill. she refuses to communicate with anyone from comenity bank because we are convinced they are just taking her money. she now has a late fee balance of a 250 and counting and is affecting her credit. no one on the other end will communicate properly and solve this issue. this can turn into a law suit this bank is fraud , their customer service is at the lowest end, and these big companies need to get their information across to customers better and switch their banking partners.

One star is too much for this review. I am truely amazed at the lack of human interaction is given with this company. Is it too much to ask to have a real human interaction. I called the company to see if we could work out an arrangement for paying off the debt. The laday I did get to speak with was polite enough, however she was completely unhelpful. She directed me to send in an email. I wrote the letter and the reply I got was short brief and a complete waste. The person didn't even include their full name. What a wonderful business model you have. Can't even include your name when replying to a customer. I will never do business with this company nor your affiliates again.

Comenity Bank has terrible customer service. We had a mixup with our statement on a brand new account with Overstock.com. At just over 30 days late, Comenity put us in collections and reported a negative late payment to the credit agencies. All attempts to have them fix it have been unsuccessful and their customer service reps have been rude and have no clue how to solve problems.

As one other review stated the integrity and professionalism of the employees leaves a lot to be desired. Comenity doesn't even a '0' rating. What's bad is you can't submit this review unless you give them one star. I will NEVER buy anything in the future from any business that is affiliated with this bank. The bank told me not to make any payments until they resolved an issue I had with them. Then they charge me $100 in late fees. I will give high praises to Lloyd in customer service. He's the only employee who is a true professional . Praises to Lloyd. I told them to take me out of their database. It's really sad they are located in Ohio. I would never of thought I would say anything bad about Ohio except for the useless 'BROWNS'. Go Buckeyes!

Bought 2 items on brand new card, returned both items, account was still being billed for one item, I contacted them about the charges, they SAID they fixed the account, late payment charged, I gave them a payment to fix the problem, then they said they would return the payment and didn’t, marked my account as insufficient funds, put the account on probation, then marked it as closed. Because of this purchase, it went on my credit as a closed account for negative item, dropped my score by 83pts!!! Long story short, DONT TRUST WHAT THEY SAY! Still to this day they are putting the blame on someone else!

This is by far the worse company to deal with! They made false statements my credit report saying I missed 13 payments, I only missed 4! Tried calling them to correct it, was told to file a dispute with the credit bureau. I did that, then was told to file a dispute with the companies dispute office via only a letter in the mail. Seriously... the company makes false credit reporting to my credit report but then makes me jump thru hoops and makes me have to write a letter to the dispute office of the company. This is absolutely ridiculous! When I pulled the companies information up on the BBB there was a lawsuit in 2015 against the company for misleading customers and they were found guilty and made to pay restitution. I wish I would of done better research before dealing with this company! Once my account is paid in full I will be closing it for good and NEVER do business with them again. PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS AND GO WITH ANOTHER COMPANY FOR YOUR FINANICAL NEEDS! DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID!

Terrible service. I have the gamestop credit card with them. And please heed to what the reviews say here. -They do not notate the account ever. -They most of the time do not send bills and say your setup with e-statements. You say you never got one and they say maybe spam and you reply with I've checked every where. -You pay your bill an extra month in advance they say they've notated it on the account which they do not. -Terrible customer service, they say after you ask all of these questions my experience was well you can just cancel. They don't deserve a star but google haven't added that in yet.

I am a blind consumer and needed help with an account payment. This bank is so greedy they wanted to charge me $9.00 to pay off my account. I do not recommend doing business with them as they are not consumer friendly. No institution should ever charge a consumer a fee on top of interest to get paid. This is poor business relations. Living in Alaska has its challenges and weather is one of its greatest. We have no control over weather, where often it knocks out phone lines and one must wait days to get repairs. I feel that consumers are far too often taken advantage of due to web options, and yet banks, finance companies and the like refuse to work with those who support their business. It is time for consumers to stop all business owners from bilking them out of hard earned dollars by taking a stand and refuse to be intimidated by this barbarians further. Using credit score blackmail, outlandish usury (interest) rates and refuse to pay fees for making payments directly to lender. It is like taxes :NO MORE IN AMERICA".

The WORST “bank” I have EVER dealt with. Bought from Jared. They switched to comenity and our auto pay didn’t transfer over.... so the payment doesn’t go through. No big deal things happen. I talk to them and get it BACK on autopay for next time. A month goes by and I get a call that we’re late again. It didn’t get put back on autopay. So I did it again. 2 months go by I get a call “you’re late on your payment”. How could that be it’s been put on autopay for the 3rd time??? So I do it again and they waive the late fee. 1 month later they call “missed a payment”. Now it’s been reported to the credit bureaus as 2 late payments!!!! This time I paid the balance off and have vowed I will NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH JARED THE GALLERIA OF JEWLERY EVER again!!! LUDICRUS!!! DO NOT TRUST THESE THIEVING LYING RATS!
