  Be ware of this institution. I called you pay off a account for my parents and was assisted by the representative named ITSY. After the account was paid in full I asked the representative to email my confirmation and recepit for my records considering the amount of money paid. The representative carelessly input the incorrect email address that has confidential information that could be mailed to some random individual with my personal banking information. I can't imagine what other careless acts take place with handling consumers personal and confidential information. Careless acts cause people to get hacked and compromised. No banking institution should be careless when handling consumers personal information. When I asked and requested that this issue is corrected I was told that there is nothing that they can do to fix the mistake. My suggestion to anyone looking to use this institution is to find another bank! Any institution that's careless with consumers information is a danger to the PUBLIC!!!!!! BEWARE

  I've been a loyal customer of Coastal for many years. A few weeks ago my account was hacked and I contacted you. The gentleman I spoke to was very nice and walked me through all I needed to do. I went to the bank and I was given a new card, my old one was disposed of for me. Thank you.

  Overall, banking here is great, I've had no issues, but we live in a mobile world. They recently updated their mobile application and it is absolutely terrible. My rating is solely on the poor application design, the ease of use they took away, and the fact that the App refuses to open and gets stuck loading 99% of the time.

  This bank is incompetent in all aspects. We have been trying to complete a home loan for 3 months and cannot get it done. Their branches have been closed to the public while they ask for data from other banks that require site visits. Disorganized, corrupt, incompetent. (-) scores aren't possible, but should be. Get an independent mortgage broker who wants your business.

  First in for most, I am a person That never does any reviews, but in this day and age I feel that with a smile, being professional and very personable service is so rare now..... This will be a shout out to that person and also to the company. Curtis, front desk, at the Glenwood Avenue coastal Federal credit Union, was very very personable and polite. I got a brand new ATM debit card made my original card was lost. I was waiting in my car for the card to be made and I see Curtis walking my card out to me ! He was very professional everything about him was great! It should just be know that Curtis is a model employee in this company is very lucky to have him!

  Donna with Customer Care contacted me about a payment that I needed to make. After discussing my payment I told Donna that my daughter had been in an accident a few days before and I needed some info about Gap Insurance. Donna was so helpful she help me get the info I needed. I had more questions and she followed up with me the same day and I was able to start the process for making a claim for the Gap coverage. Donna is outstanding and I wanted to say Thank you Donna for your help your a Diamond and I truly appreciate your excellent customer service skills!!!

  I don't feel comfortable leaving my money with them! A number of their practices feel odd or downright sketchy! Their employees are not trained properly, and aren't able to answer the simplest of questions like ways to transfe money from one account to another. They haven't honored a number of my request when opening the bank account (online statement request etc).

  People who workes there are nice but I applied for a loan At first they approved it but in last second they reject it. Thay wanted me to pay downpayment for my new car and got insurance So I paied alot of money for checking the new car payied for insurance and down payment after signing all papers for DMV docs the banker told me that they can not give me loan!!!!!I am so sad now because I think they dont do their job well I mean instead of approving my loan and cancelling it in the last second it was better not approve it from the first stage I had very bad experience and lost alot of money without getting loan Also they change the amount of my loan interest and made it higher and suddenly cancelled it Very very bad experience

  Love this bank never had any problems and also this location's customer service is OUTSTANDING! I love working with Brian he is always eager to assist me if I even look like I'm having trouble.

  People are nice, but common sense seems to be a fleeting thing. Very slow too. Nobody has all day to spend in the bank or wants to come back multiple times because they aren't thorough. Paperwork wasn't ready when we arrived even though they were expecting us.
