  Walked in for 2 seconds. The guy was horribly rude. We left and will never return. May 17th, 2022 at 11:30. It's my birthday today and really didn't need to deal with a jerk.

  I bought a pair of earrings that the guy claimed were Sterling silver but you can twist the earrings and they go right back to shape they were something that come from a bubble gum machine so I go back to explain i was told to get out. These people are crooks don't buy anything from them they are rude and deceitful. Will be contacting BBB to report them for running a shady business.I can't believe people in Clayton would just steal people's hard earned money like that!!!!

  I stop by this place about once a week to check the shelves. I've bought a few things here and there. Tools mainly. I've never had a bad experience until recently. I bought a set of battery drills there, and after a couple days I realized that the batteries (one in particular) would not hold a charge. I know they don't usually accept returns, but I decided to try anyway. They made an exception and gave me an in store credit, which was fine since I go there all the time. So that's worth a five star review in my book. Otherwise good place overall. Prices are pretty decent and tools always have fully charged batteries so you can try them out.

  Rude staff, guy acted like it was huge inconvenience to give 10 seconds of attention when asked about a product. Spent 30 seconds inside and will never come back

  Pawned my grandmother's antique diamond engagement ring and great grandmother's emerald and diamond ring and had them test both of the large diamond and emerald stones upon receiving them and just went to pick them up and had them test each again only to have them both test negative this time. Machine my worse fears confirmed. They swapped out both antique stones for FAKES! CROOKS! THIEVES! ROBBERS! Right out in the open. I already contacted my attorney.

  I bought a ps4 slim from these guys for a pretty good price and I have been hesitant to make a review because I wanted to see if the system I bought was functional. Well it is, and I am pretty happy with it. The only problem I had was with the controller. The controller does not work properly and the serial sticker on the back was peeled off so that seemed a little dodgy but thats the way it goes I should have tested it and brought it back same day. The workers were mostly nice and did not seem hostile or annoyed by me. My experience was good so I will return to this store.

  Honestly this is the best place to go to! We have been going here for 6 years and we love every part of CLAYTON Gold and Pawn :) The staff is friendly, the items for sale are in great shape, and the store is clean :) Matt, Caitlyn, the owners are all good people. This is a business people they have overhead: power, rent, payroll, etc. Understand that. Definitely stop by this place if you’re selling pawning or buying :)

  First time going and I’ll definitely be a regular. Matt and Caitlyn were great to work with and both gave me helpful info about the purchase I was making. They had a really good selection of items too, awesome store.

  Don't do business with them. If you wish to pawn an item I would recommend going somewhere else. They sold three of my firearms and the last one meant a lot to me. They really don't care and to a certain extent I get it they have a business to run. I received a call from them about my item and went in the very next day to make a payment and they told me my item was pulled and sold. As a Veteran who served his country in combat I don't recommend doing business with these individuals.

  Horrible customer service it’s no wonder why the ratings and reviews are so bad. If you have any items you plan on keeping make sure you set your own reminders for monthly payment on the loan because they will intentionally sell your stuff. Also no option to pay by phone. They are willing to risk good customer service and loyal customers over money. Don’t do business with them as the business is operating out of desperation.
