  Rudest customer service experience ever. Im surprised he didnt just say 'GET OUT'. the old man, whom I'm assuming is the owner seemed mad when the bell rang AND when we greeted him with hello how are you? He truly just let out a ummph... My husband whispered lets go and i swear the man smiled!! My husband said he hates that i have to experience what he does as black man today. And if you are of color do not even bother stopping in unless you want to go back in time and feel racism dripping in the room.

  Only leaving one star bec I have to. Old man doesn’t care about you so basically don’t ask him any questions. Send like he hates working and is grumpy as hell. Don’t look for any deals here bec he doesn’t have any. He’s just looking to rip you off. Don’t shop here if you don’t have to.

  City Pawn is one of the best pawn shops in Amarillo. I've been a customer for at least 10 years and have never had a single problem. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and have always treated me with respect. If you are looking for great prices on new and used firearms you will want to check out their inventory. Everything from collectible lever actions and shotguns to new in the box Remington 700's. Sometimes there is a nicely priced 1911 in the used pistol section, but they don't stay there too long. These guy's are most definitely legit....

  Old man very rude and could not answer any of my questions. Other employees are friendly. I've spent $100s in this store. I wont spend $1 more
