Response from the ownerThanks for the kind review. We upgraded our system and had a temporary call center fielding the calls for us. This made our on hold times go higher than normal!

JM Murley5I have been a Citizens’ member for many years and continue to be a member even though I’ve lived away from Big Spring for the past 12 years. Although I no longer live in Texas I have continued to keep my membership with Citizens because I find the website easier and more convenient to use than those of my local banks. Also, transferring funds for real estate purchases has gone smoothly and the employees have always been helpful and efficient.
Response from the ownerThank you for the kind review, JM! We hope to continue to be there for you in the years to come!

Bree Lynn3I LOVE banking here, but I’m kind of irritated right now because I can’t check my bank account because the mobile app and online site are down and need maintenance. Which would be fine but I can’t check my card at any atm, and I’m not wholly sure who I can call tomorrow (since today is Sunday) since we are all being quarantined and most things are closed. I just really need to check how much money I have in my account. 😖

David Pope1I opened an account at citizens in Big Spring when I was 15 years old. That was back in 1995. I stayed with them while I was in the Marines for 8 years. They use to be a great bank and I gave them all of my business. Not anymore. They have become rude, uncooperative, and disrespectful. I will be ending a 23 year commitment with them on Friday. I do not recommend them to anyone and encourage my friends to do business somewhere else.

Ronnie Tomasek1Nothing but problems constantly! Can’t or won’t answer phones! Rarely if ever return messages! Customer service is the worst of any establishment I’ve ever dealt with! They had the system go down, couldn’t deposit checks and couldn’t get access to money that was in the account, yet bills on auto pay came out and over drafted us! Do you think they waived the fees? No! Of course not! It took them almost a week to get it fixed meanwhile nothing was in place to protect the customer!

Tấm - TV2The rudeness of the tellers and member service staff cannot even begin to explain what a poorly ran bank this is. I choose a credit union upon moving to Big Spring because credit unions have always been great everywhere else we have lived. Except here. CFCU needs a serious attitude makeover. Especially sad when the bank has some great features, it's getting past the employee's who are the "face" of the bank that makes it just not worth it.
