J Kapagerides1Very bad support and info over the phone and in person, clerks don't know the directories and procedure, waisted my time and they said I can't open an account. Sad.

Lucio Iorfida4I needed to take care of one of my accounts at the bank that was labelled "inactive". I mentioned that I wanted to maintain this account "active" to the Citibank worker. I showed her the letter I received. Without even reading the letter, she told me I had to do it via mail. I told her to read the letter. I was right. Then she gave me the excuse that her printer was not working properly for the paperwork that needed to be completed. I asked to speak with the manager. Once he got involved everything went smoothly. Draw your conclusions from my story.

Jasmine Singh1I had an account money came up missing my account was placed on hold than over a year later they forced my stimulus check in held that too I finally after hours of calls n trips to branches was issued a bank check for account closure. The bank manager said retake to a check cashing place I went to several drove miles nope no o e would cash it so.being the issuing bank why won’t they honor their own check?

FOUND A TELLER WHOSE NAME IS MOHAIMEN KABIR IN FULL FIGHTING MODE WITH A FEMALE CUSTOMER WHO WAS TELLING HIM THAT HE'S NOT RESPECTFUL TO HER. I WITNESSED HIM BEING SO VILE TO HER. I TOLD HIM TO STOP BEING DISRESPECTFUL AND JUST ADDRESS THE CUSTOMER'S BANKING NEEDS. HE TOLD ME TO MIND MY OWN BUSINESS AND THREATENS IF I "SAY A WORD, I WILL GET KICKED OUT OF HIS BANK". I SAID THIS IS A FREE COUNTRY AND I AM ENTITLED TO EXPRESS MYSELF FREELY HERE. HE SAID YOU WILL NOT BE SERVED AT HIS BRANCH AND WENT TO EVERY TELLER TO POINT AT ME FROM BEHIND THE WINDOWS. I TOOK MY PHONE OUT TO RECORD HIM ON VIDEO SERVING OTHER CUSTOMERS AND SKIPPING MY ALTHOUGH I WAS AT HIS WINDOW. HI BOSS AND BRANCH MANAGER ANTONITSA GEORGIOU CAME OUT YELLING AT ME AND TRIED TO TAKE MY PHONE OR KNOCKED OFF TO THE GROUND. I CALLED THE COPS AND HE WENT OUT ONTO THE FLOOR TO SERVE OTHER CUSTOMERS. I NEVER WITHDREW MY MONEY AND I CAN'T EVEN GO BACK TO THAT BRANCH BECAUSE OF THIS INCIDENT. Serine Mkrtchyan3Dismissive attitude poorly hidden with false smiles and politeness. Rep was helpful, but attitude was as he was doing a favor to me. I had an impression that he didn't even listen to me carefully. After explaining my situation, he still asked if I want to open an account type with cashback that I wanted, "do you still want to try it?'" even though I certainly said I wanted that way. I felt like I was some poor beggar asking them for help and they were just doing me a favor though I wasn't representative of their favorite rich clientele. I was thinking to keep the account after I will move in a couple of years to another state, get a great job, but I think I will close the account as soon as I finish my college. I assume it is the bank itself too, not customer friendly. Customer service sucks in New York in general, but it shouldn't be a case in a bank, bank employees usually are very pleasant and professional with customers.

Rachel Quirky1Poor experience. The bank rep was not at all helpful in setting a block on a post dated check. She stated that “you cant do that” even though you absolutely can. The jerk lied right to my face. So i called the citi help line and got everything squared away in minutes. I hope this location turns into a froyo shop.

Timothy Hutto1The staff has poor knowledge of the Uniform Commercial Code and failed to honor a check drawn from an account at their bank with out sufficient explanation beyond saying "No we don't want to do that and we refuse you service." Please do yourself a favor and bank at another location in spite of the inconvenience.
