Eve Marie1Well there is one really lovely teller, my experience with this bank has been anything but great. When I originally went in to pay off a visa bill that my husband had made they talked me into getting a bank account. I told him I wasn’t interested in one as I did not wish to be put in a position that Chase bank did which was to suddenly without notification start charging me monthly charges to the point where without my knowledge my account was closed. Lost an account that I had for 30 years and it screwed my credit. I have a large check that I would like to cash right now and we spent over three hours on the phone trying to contact them to find out how long they would hold my check. Refused to answer the phone they have cut me off there is no way to get through an impenetrable wall of voicemail redirects. When they made a deal with me to pay off my visa card they didn’t keep the deal and they sold my debt to someone else, after I paid off $30,000 of 40,000 that my was been charged and then split. My life was made miserable by the way that the new company who owned my debt managed it. Had the head of Citibank at the location where I opened my account promise me that they would never change my account type, And start charging me ridiculous monthly fees. There is only one bag worse than Citibank and that is Wells Fargo and I’ve heard so much bad about Bank of America I never even tried them out. But this particular bank in Capitola is constantly closing and on the Internet it says it’s open when it’s closed. I’ve had one of the male tellers who has issues with women repeatedly treat me rudely. Every new bank manager says the last bank manager made a lot of mistakes and was fired and that’s why all the problems were but I ended up bearing the brunt of it in terms of fees. This bank is in it for the money they are not in it for the customer service. I do really love one of the tellers there and because it would negatively impact my credit to close this account I don’t do it. I cannot find out no matter how hard I try how long they will hold a large check for and so I must choose to use a different bank for my real banking transactions where I actually need a little bit of customer support.

Mike X2Generally long lines as they only ever have two windows open. Then as you're standing in line the manager will get up from their desk (where they've been watching you since they have nothing to do) and will walk the line asking why you're there and if they can help you. I'm not sure what if any task they are able to perform as in the years I've been going here I've never seen someone pulled out of the line and helped. Then satisfied at a job well done the manager will return to her desk and continue watching the line or feign a phone call to divert the lines gaze.
