  Citibank Forest Hills, on May 31st 2022 I went to deposit a workers comp check that I received from a settlement I made with my work insurance. A workers comp Judge authorized that settlement. According to Citibank the "check is fake" and they have it withheld and I don't have a single penny at my disposal. Take the statement of the Judge's decision to Citibank where it is in writing how much money was for the lawyer and how much money was to me. They have that proof that the check is real and has funds, but the Citibank don't want to admit they made a mistake and return my check to me or unblock my account and add it to my balance. I don't know why the Citibank said the check isn't real. Do not trust Citibank because it is a bank that does not serve well and it is the bank that has often tried to keep money from customers in an illegal way. If anyone have to open an account in a bank do not open it in Citibank of Forest Hills, Queens, 11375 I do not recommend.

  Super bad experience in waiting to get the safety box, came yesterday but told that cannot service. Today wait for 45 min but the staff refused to take me down together w another lady who came after me! The service is here absolutely terrible!! Done in 1 min but wait for almost an hour. I am so tempted to close the account n move somewhere else!

  I would give 0 star. 3-4 times they made me angry, I am closing my credit,business,personal, joint cards tomorrow because of all employees. They even didn't close my accounts after unsolved something.

  very poor service ...Called about opening account for child online and was told what to bring. . Got to branch and waited an hour to be seen (Friday 1pm) very high level of frustration from customers who were waiting. When we sat with assistant we were told we needed birth certificates. we were not told this before!. Went back home to get certificates. Came back waited another hour only to be told we did not need birth certificate! Think twice with this bank!

  Worst customer service experience ever!!! Saverio were our home loan specialist. He was ok at the beginning. We got a Pre-approval in a week and then it took forever to move forward. We found the house made an offer and agreed with the buyer and but couldn’t hear anything from Saverio since he started not responding to our phone calls and Emails. He was not responsive at all. As the buyer was pushing us we gave his email and contact number to our broker. Somehow he responded to them via phone call and email while we were not be able to reach him!!! And what he did is he said to our broker that we won’t be approved. It was unacceptable that he shared our personal information as well which he shouldn’t. At the end he sounded very rude when we Said that we will complain about him. He had an excuse of Covid made the process longer which understandable till some point but his attitude and being not responsive to our calls or emails was in professional. Never go to this branch!!!

  They’re a bank and so they have always ‘made good’ on banking. They answer their phones take care of problems and know what they’re doing. That’s five stars for Forest Hills. Don’t call the number on the back of you’re card. You and your data will be outsourced to the Philippines.and then have to do Four authentications and then put on hold. Stay local. It’s always the best option Monday through Friday.

  Zero star if I can. Wait here very long time for an agent to get some info about opening account here. Wrote down my name on the board. Two groups people behind me got help ahead of me and the agent just ignore me sitting there. I don't understand the logic. If the agent can pull any customer that they wanted to help first, why we write on the board? Why? Why? No explanation, no apologies, just help the customers they want. Really bad experience.

  They don't answer their phone. After 4 or 5 rings it gets transferred to the nationwide call center. Very useful if you want to find out if the local branch has a particular foreign currency in stock. I say sarcastically. I called 18 times in the last hour. They didn't bother to pick up a single call at the local branch.
