Cincinnatus Savings & Loan Co Reviews

Seth Page1I was not in as much of a rush as Nancy may have believed. So when she accuesed me of "holding up" the loan process I found it extremely inappropriate. We are talking about thousands of dollars, I am not trying to rush into something without being thoroughly informed. Which Nancy refused to do. I stated multiple times that I am brand new to this process and assumed she would understand that it would require some patience and understanding. According to my own research and a loan officer I just got off the phone with after parting ways with Nancy, a gift of equity will work as a down payment but it has to be in the original value of the house, something we were misinformed on. Hamilton country does require a $4.00 transfer tax not $5.00. Nancy seems to assume that people come into buying a house with a certain level of education on the process. Which in my opinion is unfair. Most importantly, Nancy submitted a loan which may or may not have put multiple hard inquiries on my credit without asking me before doing so. I found this to be extremely discourteous and worrisome and the main reason why I find it my responsibility to leave a review on Nancy and Cincinnatus. Minor issues were her hard to read emails. They lacked formatting, and spelling errors that made her messages unclear. Although Nancy remained professional, she showed very little patience or willingness to make me feel comfortable with the process or situation we were pursuing. She was not accurate with information given to us about the gift of equity and refused to educate us on what a gift of equity is. This entire process was very unpleasant. I will say I am not free of blame either. I was not as organized as this process requires. I provided documentation that had information missing and was asked multiple times for paper work without providing it. I will own that.
