  We just bought our first home, and the Mortgage process was as smooth as it could have been, thanks to Chris. He was available, extremely responsive, and thoroughly answered all of the questions that we had as first-time home buyers. We were able to confidently navigate a crazy market, because we felt he instilled in us a healthy knowledge of our options and future expenses. Chris had our back - from start to finish - and so did his team. If anyone ever asked me for a mortgage broker recommendation, I would not hesitate to name Chris.

  Chris is THE greatest loan officer! You will never find anyone better. Chris got us a mortgage with Northpointe and then eight months later he did our refi. Both experiences were outstanding. You will not find a more energetic, knowledgeable, hard-working, loan officer. He is also an amazing problem-solver. When we went to get our mortgage - during the pandemic - Chris handled an unusual problem with determination and grace. We had gone to other banks and no one could solve our problem. Chris did. He has great patience, kindness and understanding. It was a difficult time for us (and many) but he kept us fully informed and dealt with any issues we had - including the stress we were dealing with. He got us a fantastic rate and was actively supporting us during the whole process. I know we could not have done it without Chris. He is amazing. When it came to our refinance, he made it smooth, easy and fast. He is the consummate professional and the refinance couldn't have gone better. He got us a fantastic rate again and guided us every step of the way. I highly recommend Chris - and his stellar team. A great man, who does great work. So glad we were introduced to him. A true blessing for us.

  I recently refinanced my house, after 2 unsuccessful attempts. The 2nd attempt was actually with Chris, who - though my credit was excellent. actually explained the problem, and what I should do as a means to the end. He was engaging, kind and passionate about his job - truly one of the rare folks one encounters in life. So I followed his advice, and 6 months later I wrote to him with my new "specs." It worked!! The refinance process was virtually pain free, and dealing with Chris was a pleasure.

  Chris was recommended to me by a very good friend so I knew he would be trustworthy but, he definitely exceeded all of my expectations! From our very first conversation, I could tell that he was extremely knowledgeable and thorough. He took the time to give easy to follow explanations and was very reassuring to me. He was always accessible: he answered text and phone calls immediately or very shortly after and was even willing to take calls from my parents and in-laws when they had questions. Chris was incredibly efficient and definitely a key component in making sure the purchase of our house happened at lightening speed! My husband and I had just started looking at houses not expecting to find anything right away. However, I visited a house on a Monday morning that I had a good feeling about. I called Chris for the first time that afternoon and he got right to work. Chris had everything ready for us to be able to make an offer on our house that Wednesday morning, less than 48 hrs! He also provided us with great referrals and locked us in with a very good interest rate. Do yourself a favor, save yourself time and stress by working with Chris!   Not only is Chris a super nice guy, but he knows his stuff and never hesitates to share what he knows. Chris always got back to me, usually very quickly, always answered all my questions (whether they were good ones or just my being anxious about something), and always took his time; I never felt like he was in a hurry to get me off the phone. Anyone looking for a loan will be in great hands with Chris and his team - I couldn't recommend them more highly.

  My experience with Northpointe Bank was outright amazing. Chris Henwood and his team was exceptional throughout my entire refinance process. He honestly made the process so smooth and effortless with his straightforwardness and constant communication. We were able to close in less than three weeks. He did a great job for me and my brother and we were able to lock down an amazing rate which saved us a lot of money off our mortgage.
