  10/10 recommend Oyster Mortgage. Georgie and her staff made buying a home as easy and stress free as possible. I never felt like I was bothering anyone. Being a first-time home buyer, you have ALOT of questions and things that need to be explained more than once. Any questions I had, no matter the time or place Georgie was coming up with numbers. Assuring me that even if this or that home didn't work out to not be discouraged -- the right one will come a long and she was right. IT DID!   They were very friendly at the beginning, but soon became obvious that they were far more interested in moving their office to a new place. Very few calls to catch me up, or letters of any sort. I had had some debt & was taking care of getting rid of it, and finally did. Never heard from them...no phone call, no letter. I called 6 months after I started with them to find out that they had decided not to do any thing...no call, no letters. By that time I had cleared about all the debt my husband had left me with, and could go with my own bank in town. Would NOT RECCOMEND THEM under any circumstances. Too interested in looking pretty rather than taking care of the clients. No communication skills voice or letters. Disapointing...

  Oyster Mortgage has been wonderful in every way possible! They work hard to find the right mortgage, and at the best price, to meet the needs of the homeowner. They also work hard at helping to ensure the closing date will happen when the homeowner needs it to happen. The team is always available to answer questions, help with the process, and help keep the mortgagee closing on track. I've used them for closing on new property, as well as, for a refinance. Both experiences were fantastic!
