  Cheryl is a very knowledgeable, highly responsive, and incredibly diligent real estate broker. She helped us find the perfect property to rent while we were out of the area we were interested in, and the process was made even more difficult during the Covid crisis, when viewing a property in person was impossible. Cheryl arranged a virtual tour, got our questions of the landlord answered thoroughly, helped us get a very favorable lease, and responded to all our inquiries quickly and professionally. She knows the Monmouth County area very well and was able to identify suitable properties quickly. She continually monitored the market for new properties that might be a good fit. We were ultimately successful in renting a lovely townhome at the shore as a result of her efforts. I highly recommend her and would not hesitate to work with her again!

  I am normally not inspired to write reviews except in the case of truly exceptional service. This is one of those cases. In an industry full of less than professional agents, Cheryl Clayton is truly a first class professional who went above and beyond to ensure that my condo selling process was successful. I was selling a condo in the community of Port Liberte, Jersey City. A great waterfront community with a marina and exceptional views of New York, Port Liberte hasn't received much attention from the larger real estate community. Consequently appreciation lagged behind other areas of Jersey City. However, Cheryl brought her knowledge of the true value of the community along with the robust marketing of the Berkshire Hathaway Hudson River properties office to get my property sold at a level not seen in years and in line with the true value of the property. Cheryl consulted with me as to what needed to be done prior to the sale. She organized a professional photographer to come in as well as had digital floor plans. She even assisted with some light staging to make the condo absolutely stand out from the competition. Cheryl and her team came up with a unique marketing campaign that incorporated non traditional advertising outlets focused on buyers in the boating community as well as the traditional marketing channels. I would receive regular click reports for the digital marketing aspect of the campaign. Complicating the sale was the fact that I had already moved overseas. However, this was not an issue as Cheryl's communication was exceptional and always provided regular updates as to where we were in the process. When we finally found a buyer, she flushed out any problems and made the closing extremely smooth. I still own property in Hudson county and next time I need to sell or buy another, I will no doubt be using Cheryl's service. I cannot recommend her enough.

  We interviewed several agents and we chose Cheryl because she seemed organized, professional and personable. But then we worked with her... WOW! Not only did she sell our home fast, she was absolutely tireless in making sure the deal closed quickly, cleanly and with all sides satisfied. I would happily hire her again.   When we were looking for a rental Cheryl was very attentive and show us exactly what we were looking for and within our budget. Also I would say that she is always kind and courteous responding to our calls and messages immediately. I always recommend her to people that is looking for a great deal estate agent because I am sure she will go above and beyond to fulfill their needs.
