  Unreliable service when I have issues with Debit card purchases! Also this bank sits on direct deposits way too long!! My current new bank and my previous bank let my SSDI disability money go several days earlier ! I was late paying my cellphone bill because of Chemung when the 3rd fell on a weekday! Account closed moving on! I have a much better bank now!!! Goodbye Chemung it was "not" a pleasant ride.

  Outsourcing their dispute process was the worst decision they've ever made. I've been trying to dispute a transaction for about a month, and I keep getting ignored or told to call someone else. The charge in question is clearly listed in my transaction history, but I have yet to convince anyone it even happened.

  We've been customers since 1988. Great loan rates, but horrible savings rates and terribly bad customer service. They haven't a clue how to operate in a virus-laden society. We were asked to bring forms to a closing, and were never asked to produce them!? When attempting to reach our "closing agent," if she were on vacation or unavailable, we were never notified, no message on the voicemail, nor given an alternative contact!? Our calls, voicemails and emails went unanswered for days. Frustrating at best, infuriating at worst.
