  Agnes and Ed assisted us in the past eight years with the sale of a condo and the purchase and sale of a cottage. Our experience with them in both cases was spectacular! First, their service was extraordinary. They excelled in the big things like always keeping us informed, answering promptly our many questions, and alerting us to opportunities. But it was also the little things, like the time they replaced a defective smoke detector for us during the Fire Dept inspection, so we didn't have to drive down to the Cape. Second, Agnes and Ed have a deep knowledge of the Cape Cod housing market. We got the best prices and closed our transactions in record time because of their expertise in this market. We so much appreciated their counsel and advice in guiding us through this process. Basically we felt like we had a family member looking out for us. That is just the way they treat their clients, like family. We highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to make their real estate transaction as effortless and profitable as possible.

  We worked with Ned to buy our first house and he helped us through the whole process. He was infinitely patient with our constant questions and great at communicating quickly through email, text, and phone. Ned kept our enthusiasm in check whenever a house that we liked showed significant red flags that we would never have noticed, and encouraged us when we were heading in the right direction (without pushing us into anything!). We would highly recommend Ned to any first time buyers and I bet he’s equally great with more experienced buyers as well since he knows his trade cold. Thanks again!!

  Outstanding- just outstanding. Agnes and Ed worked with us to sell my old home. It was definitely “not your typical Cape ranch”, so we needed the right buyer and they found them. They helped me find it back in 2002, and were so helpful then that I knew who my first call should be today when it was time to sell. Agnes and Ed helped us from the first walkthrough with our tenants all the way to the point of sale. They advised on making really smart choices for improvements and suggested that some of what we thought should be done was not necessarily needed- and pointed out a couple things that we hadn’t considered that really improved marketability. Both are extremely ethical people, at no point did we ever find ourselves questioning in any way any of their advice. We are both very pleased with both the hard work and outstanding service they provided, but more importantly the people that they are. They could not have done anything more to keep the process rolling smoothly. We highly recommend Ed and Agnes Chatelain to anyone needing assistance with purchase or sale of property on Cape Cod.

  Chatelain Real Estate is an excellent choice if you are looking for real estate assistance on Cape Cod! They helped me buy a great house in West Yarmouth and made what could have been a difficult process easy. I mostly worked with Ned and he was very informative and also very patient. We looked at dozens of properties and he never pushed or rushed me. He also took the time to teach me things that made me a more savvy buyer. I highly recommend Chatelain Real Estate!

  I had the pleasure of working with Ned Chatelain to help us find a summer house on Cape Cod. My wife and I made several day trips with a list of houses to look at. Ned was extremely patient with us as we went through the process. On one such trip our car broke down. I call Ned and he came to pick us up roadside. He recommended a car-repair shop for AAA to tow it to. Went to his parents house to pick up a car seat for my grandson and then showed us the houses and dropped us off at a hotel we booked for the emergency. BTW we did not buy a house that trip. On our third trip, we finally found a house we liked and put an offer on it Ned was right there helping us all the way through the process. 6 Months later, I call Ned for recommendations on plumbers, and all sorts of things. He is more like a helping neighbor than a realtor. Highly Recommended !!
