Chase Bank Reviews

Vamsi Kodumuri2Have been customer with chase for ten years. Worst chase branch ever. Never picks up phone, poor customer service. Doesn’t live upto standards of chase bank. Switched my business to Racine branch which is way better- even though I have to drive long.

lexy bruening2The wait time to process a transaction at this branch are excessively long. When trying to call this branch, to speak with anyone, the automated answering system indicates there is no one available to take the call. I have been attempting to speak with this branch for over 30 minutes. Very disappointing and frustrating

Christopher Atkinson1My experiences here have been terrible. The first time I went in to open an account, a manager Curtis told me I needed some additional paperwork and then scheduled a follow-up appointment for the next day which he then forgot about and passed me on to another guy who apparently messed up the data entry process. This resulted in the account being closed because I never saw a mailed request for more information which I found out about two months later when my initial deposit was returned as a cashiers check. I went into the office today to ask them to cash the chase issued cashiers check and the manager Matt supported the cashier in saying they wouldn't be able to cash it for me. I asked him the fact check with Curtis that I indeed did consult with him about this account and ultimately handed the initial cash for the deposit which ended in the account being closed because of a data entry error and he said "Don't ever come in here again". Curtis was with a customer and was unable to see me, so I was again passed on to Matt. I walked outside and came back moments later to ask him for his business card, he said go get it off the desk over there and then repeated to me "Don't ever come in here again" in front of multiple customers who I guarantee would support the fact that I was respectful in expressing my frustration about the overall runaround. On my way out the second time, I repeated to him again in a nice voice "Have a nice day sir." As he repeated his not so friendly farewell. I will be closing my 4 chase credit card accounts which have always remained in excellent standing. The elderly gentleman that was patiently waiting for Matt as he returned late from his lunch seemed very disgruntled too and dissatisfied simultaneously with how Matt was talking to him. Super kudos though to the very friendly cashier lady that directed me to the managers to assist with my question that was clearly out of her capability. She was very pleasant and patiently took the time to understand what my need was and directed me to her bosses that were unavailable and too overwhelmed to talk rationally.

Hailey Peschong2I was feeling optimistic about becoming a new customer to chase because of their great offers. I had troubles setting up a checking account with one of the offers and was told to go into a branch to have it handled...I went in and waited a pretty good amount of time to be helped. Once the time came, the man I encountered was not the friendliest and I felt as though I was a burden asking for help. He was able to close one of my checking accounts since I accidentally opened two but didn’t make it seem like he could or would even try helping me with other inquiries...so here I am as I write this feeling like not all questions were answered and nor did I feel comfortable asking them. I think I’ll be driving out of my way to another branch. Horrible experience for a first time customer.

Tracy Smith5I love this branch. I have been using it as long as I can remember. There is still one customer service rep that is still there and recognizes me even though there was a period of time I hadn't been there. But everyone is so friendly. They do put cookies and coffee out next to the seats where people wait to see a banker and while I've never waited over 15 minutes, I have had quite a few cups of coffee while waiting and with the banker. They always treated me with respect and once when we were on vacation some time ago, our deposit with our vacation money we deposited a few days earlier was somehow held up and we didn't have the money available to pay for our 7 day stay at our hotel. The hotel called the bank and they manually released the money on the spot without any issues. Also, I had some fraudulent activity on an account at another time but since the transaction looked legit, it took a bit of time and me looking up the statutes for my particular situation and they took care of it as soon as I gave them the info. I no linger live by this branch but still use it when I am in town just because of the quality of service.

Jill Lamers1Unfortunately ever since Covid-19, the customer service at this location has been horrible. I have been a client of this location/bank for over 20 years and the last 3 months of the terrible customer service as well as inconsistent policies have made me start looking for another financial institution. COVID-19 is not a reason to treat customers with a complete lack of respect.

Tristan Klausegger5My favorite part of this branch is that I never have to go in (and that's a good thing). Now, you ask, why the five star review? Chase has always been the industry leader in self service banking. I can do everything I need to do on the app except take out cash, for which their are two drive through ATMs at this branch. Now, say I wanted a crisp, $50 bill for a graduation or wedding card? Walk into the branch, fill out a withdrawal slip, maybe one person in line ahead of me, and when I present my completed withdrawal slip to the banker, I don't even have to ask, they ask if I want a crisp $50 bill for a graduation or wedding card. Five stars for never having to go into the branch, and five stars for the excellent service provided on the rare occasion I do.

Susan Briggs5Went to the bank due a problem with my debit card. Spoke to Olivia. She was very helpful! She went above and beyond helping me. Thank you very much Olivia!!!

Melissa Wojnowski5I love this branch. The staff its very friendly and helpful. The only complaint is that they took the drive through out, so you have to go in for certain transactions. This makes it less convenient.

Caleb Jung1Staff was neither knowledgeable nor friendly. I tried opening an account, but was given the run-around for documentation even though I called in advance asking what was needed. When it comes to customer service, Chase never fails to fail as a bank.
