Chase Bank Reviews

Madison Sandoro1No one will ever answer the phone. What’s up with that? And all these other 1 star reviews are awful. I thought Chase was better than that but apparently not. I guess using a smaller bank is a better idea.

Tina Blankenship1Closed my bank account after my employer direct deposited my pay check and I paid bills early that morning.Next day woke up and went to see my funds after all my bills were paid so I knew what I had to use for groceries and other needs. To find out that my account was in negative of over -1400.00.Then found out that they closed my account and rejected my direct deposit from my employer. This has left me in a horrible place.I did however get the account reopened and now more than likely my vehicle will end up getting reposed because of this.I can’t Even buy food. Will be looking for a new bank tomorrow. I expect chase to cover any fees related to this.

Matt Adkins1Overall one of the worst banks I've ever had. It takes days to get ahold of them, when you go in to talk to a banker they are always busy or can’t see anyone today. I also requested 4 times to have my account changed to where if there was not enough money to cover something it wouldn’t process, they haven’t changed it after almost 2 years and ample amount of requests.

Kim H1Can't rate without giving at least 1 star! Drive thru only open till 5pm. Can't ever call and get someone on the phone in the local bank, only in a different state. And all the convenient ATMs are gone.

Edward Yu2The biggest problem with Chase in Huntington is honestly the culture clash. Huntington culture is old school. You deposit your checks in person at the bank with your kid and get candy. The infrastructure of this old bank building even allows that. Chase culture is global. Global banking, global policy, global attitude. So when they start downsizing bankers, tellers, and services at one of the only good banks in town people get upset. Smaller banks can't' compete with the services that chase can offer digitally. Also old world culture of working people in huntington need to be educated on digital banking solutions. I sat in line for 30 min to watch old people deposit checks and withdraw money from live tellers and make chit chat. With fee free machines available within arms reach. Crazy how an old world culture can persist. I have no idea why chase doesn't have better community education initiatives. They are just chasing the discounted labor digital banking provides and leaving the technologically inept behind. Bad understanding all around.

Kara Houdyschell1Starting to really hate chase bank. They have 2 atms available to us. One on 10th and 1 in barboursville and then they wanna charge an atm fee because we don’t have time to drive FOREVER away to get money. Now I’m getting charged 2.50 & 3 dollars for atm fees when I haven’t even used an outside bank atm. I’m so sick of it and done.

Jonathan Langer1There is always a line for the ATM. Always. It is the only Chase ATM in the area that I am aware of - the Marshall University Chase ATM is gone, as is their location on 9th Ave. The building of this 5th Ave location needs some cleaning/maintenance/landscaping - it is quite run-down and unappealing. Update 2021: worthless. The atm has been out of order for weeks. Same goes for the one in Barboursville.

Tammy Atchley5Very nice and respectful people that work here and very clean and the people are very understanding and willing to help as well as received and there mobile app's are really good as well so if you dont have the mobile app you might want to try it if you have a phone. so if there was a 10 star 🌟 I would give a ten star 🌟 but I will and got to give them the 5 star 🌟 because they deserve it and more.... Thank you Chase Bank Wonderful job 👏 you all are doing God bless you all...

Rabia Queen1Always one person working and we always have to wait at least 30 minute for any kind of service. It’s big brunch so plz hire more people to work so your costumers don’t have to run away for better service.
