      What is it like to have the checking account which you use daily suddenly closed overnight? I got to find out this week when I woke up to a notification that my account had been frozen and would be closed. I couldn't even pay my credit card bill with cash. After multiple discussions by phone with Chase customer service, and multiple in-person visits at this branch, I was told that a check I had received from a major university was flagged for fraud. This was in spite of the fact that the university is a customer of Chase, and the check was written from their Chase account. I could prove, beyond a reasonable doubt, that I was a student, and I had all the paperwork, including the check stub and multiple emails from the school to prove that the check was legit. But, because Chase was "unable to receive information" from the school, they closed my account. This was the week that school started, and, of course any department you contact at the school was gonna put you on hold. But, Chase had nonsensical phone numbers. One was for the Student Activity Center, others were for numbers that had no answer or were disconnected. When I supplied, as asked, a legit phone number for the Student Accounts manager, they refused to call it. The manager at this Chase location really dropped the ball. Instead of treating me with kindness and empathy, which was appropriate considering the real nonsense we were receiving from the corporate office, she treated me like a criminal. She told me "Chase does not flag items lightly". Well, it turns out that Chase does, indeed, flag items lightly. The Student Accounts manager from my school is a former banker, and was able to do the research that was not available to me as a regular customer. He discovered that the check had been flagged because...wait for it...I had deposited it by ATM. I have checked with Chase rules and regulations, and there is no limit for the amount a customer can deposit by ATM. The mistake was completely Chase Bank's. Thankfully, the school manager contacted me to inform me that my weeklong ordeal was over, and that my account would be re-opened, and the check would be honored. The manager of this location has never had the courtesy to contact me to let me know the situation had been rectified, or to reverse the fees I had been charged as a result of the bank's mistake, or to apologize to me for humiliating me and not having any empathy for my frustrating experience.

      Cannot even open a simple personal account without an "appointment". When asked about the exact reasoning behind this, all I received was attitude and nothing beyond "it is not common protocol". Complete waste of my time, called Bank of America and opened an account over the phone. I hope they realize how foolish their behavior is.

      Beware of this Branch! The Hispanic Branch Manager is unprofessional! Please send secret shoppers to see for yourself. The most unprofessional person ever! Horrible!! This was his response: What do you want me to do? Destroy your card? Versus him taking ownership of the situation and calling customer support and help Chase's clients. He deserves to get that position taken away!! For real!! Send secret shoppers to find out for yourself.

      Came in signed my name on the sign-in sheet. Took a seat and waited for my name to be called. Another lady comes in and signs in but doesn't sit down and then another lady ask her what she needs and just helps her without looking at the sheet. Then doesn't even aknowledge me after she is done helping the customer. She turns around like I'm not even there. Extremely rude & unprofessional. Get off your lazy butt from behind your desk, walk a few steps and check the list that your company makes customer sign-up on (where is the technology BTW?) Only reason I'm here is because Chase customer service I spoke with this morning was horrible and couldn't understand or process what I needed. Stop out sourcing CHASE no wonder your #1 in lowest customer satisfaction #horrible still sitting behind her desk ignoring customers! Way to go Chase this is what you pay your employees to-do....NOTHING! Perception is everything!!! PS: I'm still sitting here in the lobby not getting help as I write this review!

      Worst experience with the banker name Aparna. Wasted one hour just to open up an account and they didnt opened it. Ridiculous staff, very unprofessional and with no banking knowledge at all.

      I've never liked Chase Bank. They have horrible customer service and are very unprofessional. I had to drop a deposit from my new job, and the immediate impression was even worse than usual. As soon as you go through the door, you feel as if you are an annoyance. The person in front of me asked for someone by name, saying that he had an appointment. The Chase employee rudely said that she didn't know who that person was and didn't know what he was talking about. Standing in line wasn't any better. Witnessing mistreatment of the customers, one by one, made me wonder if I should leave. The cashiers kept looking at me as if I had suddenly fallen from the sky. I'm glad that I don't have a personal account here.

      Today marks the second time (I have uncovered fees due to) this branch giving me inaccurate information. Just spent an hour of my time getting fees removed from one of my accounts. Avoid going to this branch for any reason - they either are lying or don't know the facts of the accounts - i still have to pay 4 months of fees after spending an hour of my time with customer care over the phone - they also initially gave incorrect information and a supervisor acknowledged the mistake. I will be closing all my accounts there within 48 hours. I don't have this problem with any of my Bank of America accounts.

      Worst Chase bank branch I've ever been to. Staff member we worked with was so careless she entered a wrong social security # on the application due to which new account was put on hold. Later receive a letter from Chase asking to resubmit social and this time, she took a copy but apparently did not finish the required paperwork. A week later, received a letter again in mail stating that the account has been closed for not providing proper paperwork/social. It was a complete waste of time for nothing. Similar thing happened again where they said they've taken care of something, but they never did but the customer service was kind enough to accept documents even after the deadline. Never going back to this branch again.

      Went to this location to open a small business checking account and provided all the required documents to open the account. The account was successfully opened. However, kept receiving communication from the bank that some of the documents were missing for next couple of weeks. Had to visit the branch again and again to provide the documentation previously provided. Eventually, Chase closed the account and returned the cashier's check in the name of business entity. Went to the other location (8585 N MacArthur Blvd, Irving, TX 75063) to try to get the account opened again so that I could deposit the check. Representative from that location told me he will get back to me but never bothered to return the call. A very disappointing experience. As I did not have another bank account in the name of business entity I am unable to deposit the cashier check Chase sent me after closing the account. Complete waste of my time. Will open the business account elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this bank.
