Chase Bank Reviews

H. Yee1Updated. Made appointment for notary public, to find out that none of the Chase allegedly will notarize a court-filed recorded document, I'm told. The person I made an online appointment could easily have contacted me in advance and asked the type of document and would have saved me an hour lunch trip. Why publicize notary public if you're going to excllude services? I am growing weary with Chase Bank. Too many rules and exceptions, have been a customer for decades, long before locally it was Chase bank. AFNB, it was back then. Updated. no safe deposit boxes. Awk awk. spelunking. Original I have had no issues with the bank machine at this location. I wish it dispensed other denominations than $20 bills though (I know of 2 other locations that do). I went in to get quarters and customer service was very courteous. At the moment I don't have any reason to give a lower or higher rating than 4, which is good rating.

Marcia Ward1I always paid my bills online and never had a problem before..then I got a confirmation email for my gas bill but later found my gas bill had NOT been paid! Now I owe a big bill + a non payment fee. Now ( with a pandemic out of control) I have to hire a car to go and get a money order and pay the bill in a busy store. I'm looking for a new bank. If I could give a 0 star , I would.

Alex Hedemark5Greenfield location always has wonderful employees. Customer freaked out and a very kind and professional woman asked him politely and firmly to stop and wait or leave. She was awesome and deserves to be recognized for her hard work. Glad to have this bank in town and never had a hassle there.

rob Carpenter4The staff in the branch have always been great. They are friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately, loans are now handled over the phone or internet by people elsewhere. The short answer on their loan department is they suck, even though I got the loan. I have been a Chase customer for over 20 years and I thought I was going to have to give up my first and second born kids to refinance an existing loan and I have great credit. Plus, the loan department is very unorganized.

Amber Austin2Be really cool if someone would pick up a phone. I’ve been calling since 9a, the time this branch opens, and it’s 10:24a now. Not everyone has the time to waltz into the bank for a 3 minute conversation that could be handled over the phone.

Jennifer Huczko1No one ever answers the phone! A year later and it just gets worse! We have banked at the Greenfield location for over 32 years. We took our mother to close her IRA because she is 87 and moving in to assisted living. They were SO rude! They knew all of us by name but refused to help because she didn’t have her ID! Do not bank with them!

Socko Bob1They simply refuse to answer the phone tried calling 12 times in the course of 2 hours. Going to complain to their headquarters if, of course, THEY answer their phone...LOL

Matt-Stephanie Kaminski1The staff is very friendly at this bank, but the actual practice of Chase to hold your paycheck and only give you about $200 of it, is very upsetting. In fact, this bank held a check from my employer for one week, causing me to be 7 days late on my rent. My primary bank is on the east coast, and I've been with them for ten years, and they have never held a large or small check for over 24 hours. I am disappointed and will be closing my account.
