My Finacee worked with Ahmed. And he did a fantastically terrible job at wiring the WRONG amount to a wedding venue abroad. Not only did he make this mistake, he wasn’t even aware that Luxembourg was a country when trying to wire with the specific VAT and thought that he couldn’t help us. Today, after realizing his error (he sent tens of thousands in USD not EURO!!!), we called the branch was delighted to speak to Ahmed. We asked for his supervisor and he refused to actually call him/her! He said that we could go in and he waived the fee but for anyone who wants to any international wire transfer PLEASE PLEASE do not use this location. We decided to do this an online route and hope to open an internal investigation/review

I REALLY I wish I could give them 0 stars for today's incident. I went to this bank because the bank on my route to go to work when I went to deposit or cash a check. the bank teller kept on looking for my chase account even after saying I don't have one. the check was a chase check so I thought it would be an easy process. but the manager on duty showed up and told "FIND ANOTHER WAY TO CASH THIS CHECK BECAUSE ITS TOO LOW TO PROCESS" and she said this ina yelling tone of voice mind you it was a $90 check that I got processed in less than 5 minutes in Bank of America. now I will say this. the way she spoke to me was humiliating and unprofessional and I did call the customer service line. I still want to escalate this to their HR. because that's a correct way of speaking to somebody....no matter what bank they have. she also stamped by check...which Bank Of America thought it was weird, the check came from a big known company and it matched my ID. THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST BANK I HAVE EVER BEEN. don't go there by any means. I will for sure try to communicate with all my friends and coworkers to not go into this branch.

You can't access the ATM after hours, because their card reader at the door doesn't work. It's damn near impossible to get cash in downtown SF after 5pm from Chase

Only had to come into this branch because I couldn't get through to anyone to sort out my issue over the phone. Terrible service. But nothing in comparison to the terrible damage Chase is doing by bankrolling fossil fuel projects - $269 BILLION since the Paris Agreement. DON”T BANK HERE. #TakeoverChase #StopTheMoneyPipeline #MoveYourMoney

ZERO stars. The branch manager refused to give me my Veterans Disability DIRECT Deposit!! She called security on me instead of trying to hear me give suggestions. I went to the branch I opened the account with and pulled out my funds just fine. The branch manager at Chase on 9th and Market is a FACIST DO NOT GO THERE!!

Worst experience with Chase ultimate rewards. Don't be enticed by points with Chase reserve. We had a booking via chase reserve for thailand which we had booked 9 days ago. Due to a medical emergency we wanted to cancel the trip and could no longer make it. As a first resort, I called Centara grand Koh Samui ( the hotel where our reservation was made ) and Bangkok airways ( air carrier for the tickets we booked ). Both were prompt and quick to understand the situation, empathize with it and were willing to make adjustments. Unfortunately, since the booking was via a third party ( Chase ) and was not done directly with them, they could not execute any changes even though they were willing to. So, after talking to both those entities I called Chase with the hope that, since both the airline and hotel seem ok to make the change it should be simple. That's where I was wrong and where the night mare began. 1. First off after transferring me along to multiple departments I finally got through someone who said that they were right point of contact for this issue. 2. Once I found a POC that was just 1/10th of the battle won. The POC then went on to emphasize that they have called airline and the hotel, but they can't get through them ( when I was able to just a few mins ago ). 3. After a couple of back and forth conversations, somehow magically the line worked with the hotel and they said that they got through. Chase told me that they did their best but the hotel does not agree to make any changes. This is completely a lie since I called the hotel to verify this and they told me that they haven't even received the funds to take a call on the refund. In their systems they see the booking via Expedia. 4. So I thought Chase perhaps is powered by Expedia in the back end, so I asked them if they can check with Expedia and if not, I am happy to call Expedia directly. After a lot of futile conversations they punted this over on the hotel again ( which is a lie ). 5. I asked them to put me on conference call or email me this in writing, so that I can cross verify. Obviously they denied. Perhaps they did the best they could and this the policy for them but it's so sad to see that this is the bar of the 'best' they can do. They make it extremely difficult and cumbersome for you to make any adjustments, let alone refund. If we had done this exact same booking with the airline or hotel directly, we would have easily been able to reschedule or even get a refund. My issue is not any penalties that they may charge, but I am fundamentally disappointed with : 1. How complex they make this 2. They lie ( at least seems like it from the surface of it ) 3. Are absolutely not flexible or willing to help I was extremely unhappy with their service. Anyone else booking on Chase before your travels, please bear in mind that if you ever have to reschedule due to any unforeseen circumstances, please be prepared to go through hell.

Very bad service in the branch. 800 customer service phone # people are always polite but their hand book of answers doesn't match in the branch. Don't ever bring it to their attention. It got so bad that a 17 yr.old account was frozen and I never got a response in writing. On the phone they accused me of a racial slur. Highly unlikely behavior coming from me. The Jr. banker may have had difficulty with English language nuances. I got up and left the bank and a guard came out to the curb and banned me from re-entering. The Missy public relations girl escalated an accusation un-founded. If you hire people with foreign language skills to help your customers this is GOOD. But then if their English is lacking don't sit them down with an English speaker.HORRIBLE business model then they accused me of a racial slur........NEVER HAPPENED.

I'd give zero stars if I could. Awful bank. Horribly slow service. Some people weren't wearing masks. And they have given hundreds of billions of dollars to fossil fuel projects in only a few years. #StopTheMoneyPipeline #TakeoverChase

Just went in to find out a bit of info on their checking/mortgage products after using the ATM outside. I've been a Chase customer for many years but never used this branch before. My questions were answered in an unfriendly, unhelpful, and actually pretty condescending way by a junior banker. Worst Chase experience I've had.

Talking with a smiling teller is RADICALLY different than what this bank actually represents. After 2 years and 4 mortgage loan modification denials, I can say that NONE of the people who posted their positive reviews would feel the same way if they had to go thru what Chase has put us thru. Deliberate misstatements. False and misleading information; Document manipulation....and on and on and on.....It isn't difficult to catch the Chase reps lying. They're so arrogant they don't care if you know or even record what they say. They KNOW FULL WELL that NOTHING will happen to them because the process is so convoluted. State & Federal agencies don't care. The complaint process is a bottomless pit of bureaucracy that is administered by people who can't relate to the homeowner because they do not own a home and probably never will, because they can't afford to buy a home. Chase is a black hole. Stay away from this bank & join a credit union.
