Brinda Bathia5I had visited this chase location sometimes about a week ago and I was blown away with their amazing service. I have visited hundreds of chase branches across the nation in my 23 years that I have been banking with chase, but I have never seen such management and staff services. Mr. Daunte was the manager there and he was constantly on his toes inviting every single customer personally and offering them water, talking to them and and making sure they were all very well taken care of. Even the staff was so welcoming and courteous. I wish them all the very best for their future endeavors. Keep up the spectacular service 👌

Pooja Agarwal1Avoid Chase Mathilda branch as much as possible. They provide wrong information in terms of credit card bonus points so that we open account at bank and then when you make any complaint, they does not listen to you and keep on passing your grievance until you give up.

Chase advertises free notary services for their customers but I was turned away because my document was not a Chase document and told to go to UPS as if I was not a customer. Other Chase branches have notarized documents for me before, so I don’t understand why I was turned away.

Joseph Alexander1Terrible. You cannot possibly get someone on the phone. Calling every day yields a "were sorry, no representatives are able to take your call" message. Then when you show up they force you to make an appointment. Attempting to open a business checking account on their website fails and it tells you to go to the branch. Another time: Sent wires from within the branch that were randomly canceled by Chase inexplicably without notice after receiving confirmation. And yet another time: One of the girls behind the counter misunderstood a request to pulls funds from a different account than the debit card presented for ID and then decided to get snippy with me. The lines are long and while the branch manager is personally super nice and has always been reasonable with me, this other stuff mentioned above in combination with the fees, impossibility of raising card limits within a hard inquiry, unannounced limits imposed on withdrawals, and general terribleness of the apps and website, I absolute have grown to loathe Chase.

Jennifer P5After being denied of service to open an account at the Bernardo branch, we came here to try to open a couple of accounts. After writing our name down for service, we were called within 5 minutes, and the banker, Jo, was happy to help us open two new accounts, 45 minutes until close on a Saturday afternoon. She was very helpful and fun to chat with and was very quick with opening up our new accounts. After opening the accounts, we were able to deposit money into the accounts even though it was 4pm (closing time). Another employee was kind enough to let me use the restroom as well. Overall it was a very clean and spacious branch with great customer service.

Madhava Kumar1I did a bill pay through online for my house rent. The expected date of delivery of the check was 5 business days. But the check delivered to my rental office after 10 days. I have been charged late fee of $50 by rental office. Bank saying, they are not responsible for delays. This is not a good experience for chase customers.

Frank Werdz1Needing help to resolve persistent, Chase incompetence that many hours on the phone with Chase could NOT resolve, I came to this Branch & was directed to Vo. She asked that I send her all the info. I did so, giving detailed background information, asking several pertinent questions, & looked forward to her promised, prompt & thorough response. After 2 weeks & no response, I returned to the Branch. Manager Hoang asked that I again speak with Vo. In her cubicle, Vo told me that the Response Team had reached out to me. "I never received a message," I said. "Oh, they don't leave messages", she replied. (Later, Hoang corrected Vo, saying that if the Response Team feels they have resolved a matter, they'll just close the case without customer contact.) The questions I had originally asked Vo were still unanswered, & the problem remained. Vo then asked: "How else may I help you?" When someone asks "How ELSE may I help you?", when, in fact, they haven't helped AT ALL, I silently acknowledge their incompetence, & know that I must speak with someone who is trained. I returned to Mgr Hoang & asked for her supervisor's contact information. Hoang said she could not give that info. I asked if she (& Chase) were ashamed when employees were not helpful. We were standing in front of Jin's cubicle. He immediately came out & said I shouldn't talk like that to a lady. Jin, however, was unable to suggest a better way to re-phrase my question regardless of the sex of the person I was addressing. Jin then returned to his safe-space. Jin's question, I thought, was disrespectful to Hoang. Hoang seemed to be a strong woman: she was trying to simultaneously resolve multiple disappointed customers. (Two other customers, like me, who weren't followed-up with, had to come into the Branch to try to get a document needed that day.) Given this Branch's low Yelp Rating, perhaps this was a typical day for Hoang, including being un-helped by Vo, & having Jin demonstrate in spectacular fashion that he assumed Hoang was as emotionally-fragile as he is. The only reason I didn't give this Branch a Rating of 0 is because of Sonia. She's cheerful, helpful & efficient. Too bad she works in a different area of this Branch.
