AK5They give us INCREDIBLE rates. Where everyone else would give us 5% to 9% (even had an offer for 14%, thru a military bank hahahahaha!) when refinancing our cars Chartway gives us 3%. We have no bankruptcy and have 100% payment history and whenever I’ve talked to them both times when I’ve refinanced they say they take that into account! Had a dealership straight up say “well, a 720 credit score isn’t BAD but it’s not great either”, and offered 7% on a brand new car. I’m guessing because my husband and I are young they think they can take advantage of us? What a joke, I seriously couldn’t be happier with how great Chartway treats us and how much money they’ve saved us. They lowered our payments, shortened our terms AND cut our rates in half, all in one go. Doubt I will ever finance anywhere else! I appreciate y’all so much for looking out for us!

I brought my elderly mother in and her customer service was outstanding by welcoming us, saying Hi…. she took time out of her day to make sure we were welcomed and taken care of. Sophia Sanchez1I went into this branch last month to make my car payment because I tried to make my monthly payment over the phone with general customer service and they refused to take my payment stating my personal information was incorrect. When going into the branch we confirmed all my information was correct and the teller took my payment no issue or so I thought. 20 days later I’m just now receiving a call from a gentleman who was rude stating I am two dollars short on my payment from last month again saying I am 20 days late. Customer service is Mickey Mouse over the phone and I can’t even trust making my payment in person. This place sucks. I’ll be refinancing.

Audrey Banks1Long check clearing times, horrible debit card services(frequent shutoff of bank cards due to 'system errors') unhelpful customer service. Moved all business and personal accounts due to problems with every aspect of Chartway.

Teresa Statz4We have banked with this credit Union for 10 years now and for the most part it's all good. I love the app they have for online banking and use it a lot. we mostly used the smaller Branch with its live tellers but that has closed now. Today I had to use the remote teller/ATM machines for the first time and it's very slow! Lots of cars in line so the wait was very long and I think it took at least eight minutes to deposit one check. I even had to sign my name on the screen through the driver's window with my left hand, which was nearly impossible since I'm right handed, even though I wasn't getting any cash back. There's got to be a way to make that go faster. I believe I can take a photo of my check and have it deposited through the bank app, but I often want cash back, so I have to use the teller machines.

paul greager1Applied for a loan for a side by side. Had a call within a couple hours for the application. Which was great. That was in January of 2019. I still have never heard back on that particular loan. Received a ton of emails asking me to use them for my loan needs. Would love to get an answer on the one I applied for first. Going into a their branches used to be great out in Tooele. I’m also now on my 3rd attempt to get someone on the phone to reset my online password. First person I spoke to asked me to use the online site as they were experiencing high call volumes. 2nd time I was hung up on. Sucks, Heritage West was awesome. Need to find another bank.

Christian Brown1Their slogan state they can make ur life better and except any credit.... or something similar to that however they will not refinance my bike loan because my bankruptcy was less then 2 years ago. That does not make my life better because at the moment my loan does not show up on my credit report so it does not effect me in anyway and I'd like it to show up so it can effect me positive when I make 3x my monthly payment. So now I see why they have a low rating 🤔

Dee Mersino2Been banking with Heritage West CU for years, I can’t even remember who I banked with before, since being bought out, trying to get someone on the phone is a joke, I have even left several messages for someone to call me back, don’t even bother leaving a message. The online banking has gone down hill, phone service is basically unavailable. Good service going and speaking to someone in person, but otherwise forget it. My husband and I are definitely looking into changing our banking partner.

omingomak1We used to have two branches in Tooele. One's gone and the other remodeled. No drive thru. The branch inside is now understaffed. The ATMs are disgusting. The screens are so dirty you can hardly see anything. Want covid? Use their ATM. I do however really love their customer service. Friendly. Easy to work with. Only one star because the lack of access to drive thru and their automatic tetanus machines.
