  Used to love this branch and working with my advisor. Ever since he got promoted, it seems no one at this branch wants to do their job. The person who took his place keeps pawning me off and takes forever to respond to any correspondence. He, as well as the central phone number, have reached out to the branch manager to set me up with a new advisor that can actually just talk to me about portfolio performance (very simple ask) and zero response, reach out or explanation. Supremely disappointed with the branch manager here. Looking to find someone at a different branch.

  Front desk person did not make me feel welcome, repeated that I need to go online as they rushed me out the door. This is a great company, but bad customer service sold me in the other direction.

  My financial advisor recently passed away and while I was sorry to hear this felt somewhat reassured by the branch manager that I would not be in limbo long. In his letter he indicated this process would not take long and he would be available should I have questions in the meantime. That was over one month ago. I have left a voicemail mail for him which he seems to have ignored. Very disappointed and after several years with Schwab am considering switching to another broker.

  Horrible! Disappointing! Was referred to schwab by a friend and the experience was truly disappointing. 1. Opened account with expectations of starting to buy stock asap. No disclosure about that it would take about 10 days before able to invest. Lost out on great opportunity. 2. Called to find out what was taking so long and was finally disclosed about the long wait and that the best way to have funded account was wire transfer vs mobile deposit. Should have been advised right away. I mean i opened account to invest not sit on money. Lost out even more money. 3. Finally when setting wite transfer spoke to someone with a brain who made some calls and was able to purchase stock even while my deposit was still on hold. If this would have been offered in the beginning i would have done it this way but needless to say. The wait for my funds to be available made me lose out on a lot of money. Super disappointed with the service so far. Makes me sick to think about all the nonsense i had to put up with. Recommend better disclosures and all options to your customers. That whole easy to setup nonsense i consider false advertising.

  I am trustee of my parents' estate and was looking for a reliable custodian, with good online tools and reporting, and responsive service. I was not getting this from (big commercial bank trust group), and had gotten pretty frustrated. Schwab, in particular Cherie Ramirez in the Lincoln Park office, made it easy. She assisted with the account set up and funds transfer and got the forms submitted right away. She arranged for check-writing and other helpful features. She answered every question promptly and fully. It was a huge relief and welcome change from what I was experiencing at the other bank. Schwab made it simple, fast and stress-free.

  In addition to the great investment opportunities, Charles Schwab offers a high yield checking account without any foreign transaction fees on your ATM withdrawls. This was a huge help on my recent trip to Ireland and Spain! I couldn't be any more thankful for this tip from my personal training client, Martha. I will certainly be telling all of my traveling friends about this service!

  Customer service here is bad! Usually they are not available when you need and hang up on you in the middle of the conversation.

  Go to a different location where they ACTUALLY have a clue. They don’t know what they’re doing in here. Came to this location and ask for help so I can get my debit card. Asked if there was a minimum required for the account or if I had to switch what kind of account I had. The guy was completely misleading and gave me the completely WRONG information. Was it your first day, guy? Did you not pay attention in training? Because as i wait for nothing for my debit card to appear, turns out I actually needed $100 in the account for my card to be sent out. Why didn’t you know that? Do better! I made it clear im leaving the county soon so time is of the essence. Now I’m inconveniently abroad without my card and have to go the extra step and have it sent to me with the hopes of it not getting lost in transit. Thanks for nothing, guy. I hope the rest of your staff arent this incompetent.

  Worst bank ever. Just try to get over $500 cash , they make you go to another bank and then that bank charges you.
