      I would like to thank the entire team at the Pensacola Central Credit Union of Florida for a great experience. Barbara MacNeil helped me first in promoting their services and special promotions and encouraged me to apply. She emailed me an application and upon completion referred me to Regina Mosley at the call center. I had several contacts with Regina which was very warm, helpful and in the end bore fruit. Regina helped to arrange a meeting with Kendall Burton from the Cordova Branch where the loan was finalized. I really felt like I was dealing with family through the entire process. Ms. Burton even helped me to set up an app on my iPhone to access my new accounts and made sure I was comfortable with the app before I left. The experience I had is what a great model of "customer service" should look like. I am indeed a new customer, and I gladly recommend the great folks at Central Credit Union for your banking needs!

      I'm a new member at Central. I came in for an auto loan and my experience was amazing the process was quick and easy. With the exception of filling out the initial application and finishing paperwork everything was done remotely. Dakota Watkins was a wealth of knowledge and help and really makes sure you get a loan that will work for you and be happy with your financing. 20/10 would recommend them.

      I'm a long time customer who encouraged my sons to use this location/credit union. I love the fact that they actually care about every customer and are always friendly, professional and efficient. I've dealt with several banks in my lifetime and, without a doubt, CCUFL is the best of the best. Great people, great experience.

      I have been doing my banking with them for a good while now. At all the locations, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. It gives you that “Cheers” feel to it. Highly recommend. Plus the customer service is superb, knowledgeable, and will help you out anytime. I’m extremely big on customer service. If you have terrible customer service then that establishment will not last long. CCUF y’all are great! And another satisfied customer here.

      ~STOP TURN AROUND~ and rethink using this bank as your main financial institution for your banking needs. The other negative reviews are not wrong! Most positive reviews are most likely from workers and their families alike. If this review stops one person from going here than taking the time to write this will be worth while. I’ve deterred several newcomers to the area from making the grave mistake of coming here and I do hope everyone who reads these reviews can take the few minutes it may take to read mine. Normally, I would highly recommend choosing a ‘credit union’ over a ‘big bank’ and while that may stand true for all ~other credit unions~ except this one - Central Credit Union of FL. And this is why..... Imagine having a family of 5, not only in the middle of the only pandemic we’ll likely all see in our life times but imagine you and your husband, with three small children to provide for, are suddenly laid off from your careers of 12+ years. Getting thrown into the claws of Floridas’s ever slowing unemployment system; something neither you or your husband never dreamed of navigating much less being at their mercy, having to pray the payments will soon come and you may continue to support yourself and family. Side note (for anyone’s not in the know): it took DEO (FL’s unemployment system) over ~3 + months~ to begin paying claims. And that did NOT include any back/retroactive pay. You have never missed a rent/mortgage payment, electric, water bills, or any of your monthly bills. But now nearly in a moments notice you have no income, sparsely dividing the little savings you have left to maintain your families day to day needs. In the absolute ~height of the pandemic~ this bank SUES YOU - a customer of over 15 YEARS. Over $2,000. Yep, $2,000. Screw keeping a roof of your families head. They want their money. And they want it RIGHT NOW. No different than any of the ‘big banks’ places like these places tote so much about how they’re sooooo much better than. They couldn’t wait till we received the “stimulus payment” that much of the country received - yet we had not yet. Nope, they sued us - in the middle, and HEIGHT, of a pandemic. I could garner more sympathy I’m sure by going on & in about every single thrown my families way this year but I won’t take up anymore space; or anyone else’s time - if you’ve read this far - thank you. Even after being sued, even though you try to make your monthly payments - which by the by so often the people in the building can’t take *insert whatever reason here*. The threatening emails THEY CONTINUE TO SEND. GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE! Go to Bank of America, Wells Fargo, etc I have several friends who were, like us, hit hard by the pandemic and are far up a creek worth thousands upon thousands of dollars - and yet ~none~ of those ‘big banks’ sued them. Nope. They offered their customers the reassurance they needed so so badly in times like these. Plus not to mention this bank is stuck in a sort of windows 95 setup and their website and lack of features they offer in 2021 is absolutely comical. And please, Central, please save any “response” you may have. No need to add insult to injury. I don’t care if it’s your ‘job’ I firmly believe every bad thing we do unto every human being around us does in fact come back to us. Maybe think of that the next time you waltz yourselves down to the clerk to sue another family and make their lives a little more difficult during these torturous times -_- Have a blessed day :)) Maegen, Christy, or whatever all the other dimwits names are.....*ahem*

      Recently refinanced with Jen Alvarez and saved a fortune. She was able to lower my payment by 100s. After paying a high interest rate to buy my new 2018 Rav4 in December, I refinanced 4 months later. Could not be more grateful to the awesome team at all the Central branches and mind you I relocated to Jacksonville and Jen handled it all and made it super easy for me without even going in.

      Been trying to pay this loan off for an hour and a half. Called first and they said they can’t take payment over the phone so I had to go to the drive through and they said my card declined. They made me go out of the drive through that I waited 20 min in and I called my other bank and they said there wasn’t even a charge. So I got back in the long drive through and the lady said they’ve closed there payment processor or something and can’t take the payment. They didn’t close for another 2 HOURS! Guess they don’t want my money! Very disappointed with this location! Like I’m so frustrated, one I pay this dang loan I’m closing my account for good!
