  Only 3 I used to have a client and would park in their lot since her place didn't have a drive off the road. This is on my list! See you have to book on line now but for sure love ghosts and old places with history.

  Had a great time! Jack is super nice and beyond accommodating. We loved the hotel and the experiences we had with the other side. Definitely will be coming back 👻

  I can't say enough! The history was more than enough to draw me. Jack & Maria are are absolutely amazing! The atmosphere, along with the hospitality, made this the trip of a lifetime. Hauntings abound as you step back in time during one of the most difficult time for our country. Thank you again, Jack and Maria, you guys are my hero!

  I love this place, I really do. My husband and I had came up a few times when the old owners were there. Everything ran like clockwork. You could set your watch by these people. You could not have asked for more with the old owners. They bought another place and left CASHTOWN. After the new owners took over my husband and I went up there one time. They were not friendly, kind of acted like you were bothering them if you asked a question. I didn’t like the woman right off the bat, and her husband seemed like he wondered who he was. Breakfast was nothing like what we used to get with the older owners. We have not been back and never will again. Left a bad taste. If you’re going to run a bed and breakfast, do your customers really have to tell you to put a smile on your face? Do your customers really need to tell you how they should be treated? If I were you I would think about that. And if you can’t deliver those things to your customers, then go out of business. I wish I could’ve said better things but I have to speak the truth. So very sorry.

  Owners were very friendly and informative about the history of the Inn. They also gave us a lot of insight as to what to see while we were visiting Gettysburg. The room was very clean and comfortable... made you feel at home. Will definitely be going back!

  My husband and I stayed at cashtown inn twice. Our first time was back in 2010 and it was great but this this time around was not so great. My husband had booked a 2 night stay at cashtown inn for my birthday the end of April 2016. We never got a confirmation email and my husband left them multiple emails asking if they could do anything for my birthday like putting flowers in the room as a surprise or fruit basket something and willing to pay extra but never got an answer. When we got there to check in the owner Maria was yelling in the phone at someone and after spending 5min with her you could tell she definitely on some sort of drug. She wasn't all there and we felt very uncomfortable. The place was mostly shut down the whole time we were there. We stayed in general lee suit 5 and the room was covered in stink bugs. I felt like the place had lost its historic feel. The owners had put up pictures of boxing, basketball, random doodle pictures, gargoyles figures everywhere. The have a cat that eats on topic the bar. The phone rang off the hook just non stop. The other owner jack checked us out and he also was on drugs. I honestly couldn't wait to leave that place and will not be going back. That place has gone down hill.

  This place is phenomenal great host!!! The owners and us talked all night and even allowed us to hunt. They went far and beyond for us. They even cooked us steak at 330 am along with drinks. I will return back every year. Also, we were skeptic about ghost and we have so pretty good proof of what we seen.

  Maria, the owner, is absolutely CRAZY! Dinner was great, and the staff was friendly, but our family's experience the morning after our first night was far from the comfortable experience you'd expect from a Bed and Breakfast. The inn is quaint, but the broken, stiff and noisy "character" of the beds left for an uncomfortable night of rest. When we woke an hour before the scheduled 8:30 breakfast time, we struggled to get ready because the power was out. At 9:00, we sat in the restaurant for our later-than-expected breakfast and told Maria about our sleep-prohibiting beds kindly. We weren't mad; we weren't upset. We simply requested that we be moved to a new room if it was alright with her. She lost her you know what and went into a fit of rage about how she is the owner of a Bed and Breakfast, not a hotel. Literally yelling at us at this point, Maria told us that the beds are simply old and that we should either sleep through it or check out. So we went with the latter option and said sianara to our good friend Maria. Never introduced herself or anything. Only reprimanded the people who keep her in business. If you're not going to be hospitable, don't own an inn.

  We really enjoyed the Cashtown Inn. We stayed in the General Lee suite. The owners, Jack & Maria treated us like family. Dinner and breakfast were absolutely amazing. Jack is quite the culunary cook in the kitchen. We heard scratching on the walls one night in our room. Hmmmm. could be? Thanks Jack and Maria for your warm hospitality and conversation!
