  We came to Susie with a multi-year, multi-state, multi-company bookkeeping matter that needed attention including re-structured bookkeeping and effectively making ready for both final tax filings and also to wind down and/or merge some of the entities. Her team performed very well and the communication has been professional at every step. We are now in a place where I have much more confidence in our accounting structure, it is timely, and the details are not being missed. We have the control we have been looking for. Mission accomplished.

  Last year, 2020, was my first year as an official independent contractor after having to leave school because of COVID. I used my artistic talents to create a little business for myself helping a local brand management business with their client creation projects and made a little bit of money for myself. I had never worked prior to that - always focused on school first, so I wasn't quite sure how or where to start. Plus I had school bills and things to worry about. I learned about Susie and Carefree Bookkeeping through the brand manager I helped, Back2Basics, LLC in Minneapolis. I couldn't be more thankful for the connection. Susie took care of helping me sort it all out and put everything together that I could just hand off to the CPA when the time was right, and got me set to go in days. I had to pay a little into state this year because of my income, but it was peanuts compared to what I thought I was going to have to pay when I tried figuring it out on my own. Plus, the amount of time and stress Susie saved me was indescribable. I would highly recommend Carefree Bookkeeping as your financial management partner to any independent contractor looking to grow and just get on with their business without having to worry about all the other numbers sorting and reporting.

  I wrote this 2 years ago and am still so happy to have Susie as my bookkeeper. It truly is carefree to have her in my life...I have a small business and have had 3 bookkeepers and Susie has saved me and my books from a mess. She is the BEST bookkeeper ever and I trust her with my books 100%. She knows what she is doing in quickbooks and probably any other books and is well connected with others who can help. She is accessible after hours and is very dependable and reliable. Susie makes me feel like I am her only client as she gives me great attention.
