My fiance and I highly recommend working with Cardinal Financial. Being first time home buyers, the process and information needed seemed almost frightening. We weren't even sure if we would qualify for a loan to make the purchase we wanted. I contacted John with a list of questions and doubt. John really smoothed out the process, he helped make sense of the information that was needed, John was always quick to respond to our questions and eased our anxieties about the home loan. John, and Cardinal Financial, made the home buying process much more fun and fulfilling. In the end, we ended up with a great home and amazing experience. Any home we purchases we make in the future, John and Cardinal Financial will be the team we chose to work with. Thanks John!

Tyler was incredible to work with as our loan officer. As a first-time home buyer, I didn't know much about mortgages or the lending process. I had a million questions and he answered every one of them patiently, and helped me understand what was going on at all times. He was also very responsive throughout the entire process. We got a great rate, closed on time, and feel really good about how everything went. I would recommend these guys to anyone looking for a mortgage.

John made it stress free for me and helped me to reach financial goals quickly prior to finding my new home. He helped me position myself so I could make an offer and I have now been in my home over a year now. After a year John reached out when he could help lower my monthly payments. Both times I’ve worked with him he was reliable and worked quickly in order to help me save money. Thank you for everything!

Scott Hofmeister and his team at Cardinal did such a great job with us and the whole home buying process. He always was very prompt and professional with any question or concern that we had. If it hadn't have been for Scott and his team, we would never have closed on time. Thank you Scott!!!

Gary Evenson at Cardinal Financial was not my lender, but the lender for the buyer of my townhome. While preparing for closing the morning of, he made a typo that froze all funds, and had to push the closing date out 5 days. I was not notified until all of my personal belongings were already on a moving truck, headed to my new house. I was not able to close on my new house because I could not close on my current house. Because of this I had to stay in a hotel and my realtor was told by Gary that I should save all receipts for expenses over the next 4 days and I would be reimbursed. We provided all receipts at closing. That was 12 weeks ago and I have yet to receive a check for reimbursement, let alone an apology. I’m just happy that I do my lending through a different company.

Absolutely most unprofessional experience ever. Loan officer Grant Hall not only made multiple mistakes with his complete unorganization, but almost cost the loss of a home purchase. Information given about rates were inaccurate, told Grant multiple times did not want to buy down rate, yet at closing fees were added for buying down the rate and was too late to make changes. Had to send same paperwork multiple times, messed up the social security number and attached it to another name, pulled his credit several times, and could not seem to keep track of anything he was doing. Realtors on both buyer and seller were not happy with the way things were communicated and processed. Even the CPA who had several interactions with Grant about tax information was frustrated with him. If it weren't for the realtor and trust in God..this deal would have fell through, left 5 months worth of work done with no result, and a tarnished credit score from the multiple pulls.

      Response from the owner

Hello Eckko, I am so sorry to hear you had a horrible experience in regards to your home loan, I would like to let you know Grant Hall doesn't work with us, he is with Cardinal but we have a couple different groups here in MN, Cardinal Financial MN is our name on Facebook Again I am sorry for your experience but I want to make sure you knew so you could direct this at the appropriate site

Scott is very professional & thorough. He kept me informed through the whole process. I have used him twice & have been pleased both times. I highly recommend working with Scott Hofmeister to get any financing done, whether a home purchase or re-financing -later.

Scott was easy to work with and had our best interest in mind at all times. We refinanced and he helped us save 250$ on our mortgage. I would highly recommend him.

Aaron has been great, he has been a friend and mentor through out the loan process. He was accessible anytime including weekends and late evenings to answer any questions. I referred Aaron to all my friends, and they are all happy as well. Thanks Aaron.
