Capital One Bank Reviews

Gianna Bull1Decided to go into the branch to discuss opening new accounts and looking into my current credit account. Complete waist of an hour. After waiting patiently to finally be told the young lady would not know when she would be able to sit with me. The rep advised me to use the app. After deciding to leave after waiting I received a snobby attitude from the young lady to have a nice day in a condescending tone. My advice do not waste your time at this branch!
Response from the ownerThis isn't the kind of experience that we strive for and we understand that your time is crucial. We've got this review doc'd to get in front of the right eyes for you. ^VS

Tatyana Y1Horrible service. Always waiting for 30 minutes to do a simple transaction, and yes if I could do it at an atm or online I would, but when I have no choice :(. Also, a 100 dollars disappeared from my deposit when I clearly knew how much money I just withdrew from another bank. Boone at the branch, including the manager, did anything about it, even said how they don’t put cameras to monitor their employees. So now the money is gone, guess where
Response from the ownerThis isn't the experience we strive to provide to folks in our branches. On top of that, we'd like to get a look at the transaction in question here—if you chat us from the bubble at the bottom of your transactions page, we'll review. ^VS

Destiny P1So capital one closed most of the branches to open up cafes which you can’t really do anything there except use the atm. The closest full branch to me now is this location at 12th & F street NW. It is very slow and always crowded. Every time I come to this location it’s always 2 people working here. One teller and one banker. I rarely come to this location because of this and come back with hopes that when I’ve come back it’s fully staffed. But no, same long waits. So disappointing! I’m taking my busy elsewhere.
Response from the ownerClosing a branch is never an easy decision. We understand its impact on our customers, and we’re making sure they know we’re here for them wherever they may be. We'll be sure to document this post as feedback to ensure it's seen by the right eyes. ^AS

Mashal Shah1Terrible location. One of the worst capital ones I’ve been to. The manager is never around and the tellers can’t seem to do basic transactions. Every time I’ve been here, it’s a nightmare. Nobody seems to want to do their job and the lady in the back room is extremely unhelpful and rude. All the staff here is incompetent and lazy. DO NOT GO!!
Response from the ownerThis isn't the type of impression we want to have on our customers and apologize for the experience here. We'll be sure to pass this feedback along to ensure your voice is heard.^AS

Michael Brand1Horrible customer service every time. At least they’re consistent. I would avoid this location if I could, but I can’t. Do yourself a favor, pick another bank or Capital One location.

Anna Sarnek2There’s no one at the info desk and only two bank tellers on staff during business hours. After calling ahead of time and waiting in line to ask someone about the notary service I was told that the notary stepped out for for an hour. What kind of of service is this.
Response from the ownerHi there, Anna. We know that your time is a precious commodity, especially when it comes to managing finances. Thanks for taking the time to communicate your experience—we've documented this conversation and will pass it along to the right folks. ^MS

Matthew1Attitude, attitude, attitude. That's the best and only word to describe the staff at this location. That's what you get when you hire those types. Typical attitude for the types of staff working there.

Chloe Y1Every time I come to this location it’s a long wait. There’s never an available banker. They need to hire so more people maybe.
