  Lost my wallet and need to get some info about to getting some cash before cancelling my cards. The teller was everything bad about customer service today. Sloppy, wearing a t-shirt and slouching carelessly on his stool. Completely unhelpful and clearly unconcerned. I felt like I was bothering him. I really hate that! Yes loosing my wallet is on me but a little help and understanding would have gone a long way especially since I have to wait 5 business days to use my account - unbelievable

  It's too sad that a bank can no longer provide a temporary check to a customer. I forgot my checkbook at home, so I went to the Kensington branch and ask for a temporary check. I was told that Capital one does no longer provide temporary checks. This is rediculous because if I open a new checking account the bank will give temporary check while your real checks arrive at your home. Not happy at all and will probably not recommend Capital One bank to my friends and family. I have personally been a customer for several decades (when it was Chevy Chase bank.) The staff was polite and professional but the banks new policy it's rediculous...and will consider going to another bank.

  My Mom and I came into the Kensington branch hoping to solve a problem created by Capital One 360 (the online part of Capital One). Yeimy Polanco was incredibly helpful and patient and *did* ultimately solve our problem. Thank you Yeimy! Long story short: this branch of the brick and mortar Capital One appears to be a good place to bank, but Cap One 360 -- which operates as a separate bank -- should be avoided like the plague for the next year or so. The 360 new website has literally "lost" peoples' money (see stories on the Web) creates many new headaches and just doesn't operate as well as the one it replaced. When you're an online bank, that's a big problem.

  Horrible customer service, the branch’s associates are clueless, not able to open a simple checking account. Very frustrating experience. Think again and use a different bank!

  I had a good experience in Kensington branch. I open new account there .... Fast and friendly..... So, it is a good choice for opening account
