The line at this location is always lengthy and appears understaffed. On two occasions prior I have left due to the long lines. Today I went back today to get a temporary check and they don’t have any in stock. The staff member recommended I drive across town to a different bank branch to see if they have any on hand. Re-stocking the college drive bank branch is a service Capital One should perform to ensure they don’t run out of stock of important items such as checks.

      Response from the owner

We hear you on this, Laura. Appreciate you taking the time to share your experience - we've doc'd this review as feedback for the right folks. ^AJS

Sat there for over 30 mins trying to deposit checks. Left with my deposit still in my possession. Not the first time this has happened. After twelve years, i guess I’m finally going to have to swap banks

I don't have an ATM card to get access to my money and the lobby is never open. They won't even let you come around to the drive thru if you're not in a vehicle. Why?? Can someone please explain that to me. But the branch on Florida Blvd. will.

      Response from the owner

Hey Kenneth - We understand your frustration here. Both swiping your card to enter the lobby and not allowing walk-ups through the drive through are security measures put in place to keep both our customers and employees safe. ^AS

Need to access safe deposit box but lobby closed. Drive thru only. All cars in one lane. Impossible to exit due to design. Stuck for over 15 minutes (so far) with no way to just leave. Call gets transferred to remote center and told to call the branch - useless.

I used to frequent the Government location as it is 3 blocks from my house. The collegebdeive location has very friendly employees but not nearly enough of them. What appears to be 1 employee handling the customers in the floor is a bit ridiculous during the lunch hour. I get that they have to eat as well but as a retail manager myself, we eat when our customers are not in the store. It is very common for people to want to handle their banking business on their lunch break. Once again, the staff was very nice, they just need more of them.

      Response from the owner

While we're glad our folks are able to take good care of ya, consider your feedback on staffing duly noted. We've documented this conversation and will get it front of branch leadership so your voice is heard. ^MS

The woman who manages this bank was so rude to me when I complained that they had actually REMOVED all of the kiosks customers use to fill out deposit/withdrawal slips causing customers ACTUALLY HAVE TO WASTE TIME DOING THAT IN FRONT OF THE TELLER AND HOLDING UP THE LINE (what kind of a stupid idea is that? Why did they find in necessary to do that?), I pulled my 6 figure account OUT of Capital One and closed it the next day after nearly 2 decades of banking with them (and I just got my new checks, too!). So if you want to waste your time while the teller, unfortunately, has to just stand there and wait for the customers to to fill-out their slips, have at it! You are going to love this bank!

Love this bank.!!! Very welcoming!!! Jonathan Hughes was patient, understanding, and just awesome today. HE helped me for 2 hours to make sure my bank situation was cleared. I know if it was someone else they would of not been as patient as he was with my situation. But not just from today but each time I visit the bank they're always awesome.

      Response from the owner

Whether it's your day off & you're home alone, or out at some sort of breakfast club, Jon's got you covered. It may sound like weird science, but Jon's always keen to make your experience pretty in pink. ^NW

People only take the time to write a bad review. This branch is awesome. They stay open way past any other bank in baton rouge! The management takes the time to learn repeat customers names so you are greeted by your name. Over draft on accident...taken care of a few times. Granted if you do that weekly I'm sure they wont help you out(they are in business to make money.) I love this branch, I'm sad I moved out of the garden district. Hopefully the starring location can fill the void.

Everyone is usually very nice. Ive only had one bad experience. I was making a deposit of 350$ and after i gave the teller the money she swore i only gave her 250$. After telling her I know that's not right, she was very rude about it. I sat in the drive through for about 20 mins while she "counted her drawer." I was right and she deposited my money. It could have been an honest mistake, but i just think everyone making deposits here should be careful.

This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Not only is the lobby never open during their "open hours", the tellers are less than accommodating. This location would be better off closed in my opinion.
