  The reality is that a lot of people wouldn’t be considered low income if they weren’t priced out by other salaries. If your going to complain about “low income people” please make sure you understand the complexities behind the issue. We share this city with people of different races and socio-economic backgrounds, inequality exists and rather than complain about the people experiencing it and blaming people for being low income have consideration.

  Great place to go for a quick small loan when your financials are in a bind. Having said that, the wait times in line can be rather lengthy if you visit during the government pay cycles (first 3 days of every month). Don't be fooled though, rates for all services are naturally high for having the convenience to get quick cash when a financial emergency strikes. Use common sense, and know your limitations prior to asking for any advance on your part.

  If negative stars was a option I would have selected so. The employee I ended up being stuck with decided that my Veteran Affairs Disabled Veterans ID was not enough to obtain a simple western Union was sent for my birthday. I have gone to this exact location and used said ID multiple times prior. I then asked to speak with a manager to which she lied and informed me there was no manager on staff. Which’s obviously not true as a manager must do final counts. The entire time you could see her smile stretched ear to ear even through her mask . This location does not support the Veteran community as well as felt it needed to lie on multiple occasions. I was not asking any special privileges only to be treated as everyone else. It’s truly a pity that branch that was located on kearny has permanently closed as the level of service and help out shined this B location.

  Wow, a lot of people letting it all hang out with the comments. This place is just fine, I save 5 stars for fantastic and 1 star means serious problems. Any adult with common sense would be able to see that things are operating well when considering the place you have gone in to. If you can verify your identity and have a valid check, it will be cashed. Patience is a virtue you may find yourself tested on, but the staff are just doing their job at the same speed as the staff at Bank of America or Well Fargo in my experience. I wonder if those that give 1 star for service here would honestly give themselves any higher of a rating for their own behavior, really. And then consider that when rating someone working in such an environment all day. Let’s not be harsh on our fellow men and women just because it may be easy to like this.

  It's a low income neighborhood so keep expectations low. I've never had a problem calling checks or dealing with employees here. They always ask how my day is going and are very pleasant. If somebody gets bad service here it's probably because they're doing something wrong. Never had an issue.

  All I was trying to do was cash a check from my birthday. They told me I had stolen the check and that they were going to call the person, they accused me of giving a bad phone number and are now saying they need supervisor approval. They also wanted my employer references just to cash a check. Do NOT go here unless you want to be treated like a criminal.

  Long lines, employees behind the glass but not working at the counter. Low income area so you have to put up with all the line jumping. Very slowly in helping the customer. Always new people behind the window! Again I stand in this line for 30 minutes and have not moved more than 2 feet. 7 windows only 3 people working! This place sucks!

  Great place to receive and wire money, cash your payroll checks. Only concern is the seedy neighborhood. So count your money while still in front of clerk and immediately put it away before exiting the building. Trust you'll understand why!!!

  Here at least 2 times a month and haven't ever had a problem. They even took a check that I threw up on once, I told the lady, she put gloves on and cashe'd it! The surrounding areas not great but what do u expect across the street 6th and market and up the block is the TL! Sometimes the line is extremely long, butbI seem to get through in a decent amount of time*( I'm not fuming when i leave!) I'll definitely be coming back here. Oh and this one on market is open more than any other cash cheng I've found around here!

  Just wasted my time calling this person and that person. Verifying this and that and in the end denied me. I was treated badly and was even called a liar. I would definitely not recommend this place. This business is a joke.
