  Bryan helped me lower my rate by refinancing and stayed in communication with me all the way through the process. Usually these guys get you to sign and then disappear until you need something, but he was always on top of things as we progressed through underwriting and processing. We even closed my refinance in less than 30 days! (25 days to be exact). I highly recommend Bryan as it seems he goes the extra mile for everyone.   Bryan Kelly of Guaranteed Rate helped me with my VA home mortgage in 2013, and he remembered me when the rates dropped in 2020. He explained how interest rates were lowered and the VA rates were exceptional. Well, I was very happy to receive the news from Brian! The process began, and while refinancing a VA loan doesn't happen overnight, he and his team were very attentive in making sure we had all of the right documents. Absolute due diligence was taken by Brian. Also important to note is that all documents were exchanged with a secure server. Brian's service helped lower my monthly payments significantly. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to mortgage or refinance.

  I’m a long time home owner in Chicago and I’d been receiving many solicitations, via mail, voice messages, emails, etc. telling me it’s a great time to refinance my home. I contacted several and they all wanted me to fill out forms online but I wanted to meet with someone in person. I googled mortgage brokers and was fortunate to find Bryan Kelly. He immediately set up a meeting with me, in my home, and working with Bryan and Guaranteed Rate was one of the best decisions I’ve made in a long time. Bryan met with me, in person, and he explained several different loan options and the benefits of each.   My wife and I used Bryan for both our original mortgage and refinancing. The process could not have been more seamless. Bryan took the time to go over every detail in the home buying and refinancing process with us and made sure that we understood and were comfortable with everything. He even met with us on nights and weekends, but the best part was not only getting the best rate available, he made sure we closed quickly on both occasions. It is very nice to know that he is there as a person and takes the time to connect with you on some level besides just schlepping you through to get to the next customer.   On our most recent home purchase we spoke with Bryan. We were buying while still carrying our previous home and needed to get a little creative to make it work. We presented Bryan with a structure that had been recommended to us by someone at Perl. Bryan said it wouldn't work and was needlessly snide about it. He didn't put forth any effort to understand or find solutions. So we went back to Perl and purchased the home using the structure they proposed. We're presently thinking of refinancing and are looking for a broker since Perl isn’t around anymore, but I won't be calling Bryan.
