  I love banking with Bowater Credit Union Bank. All the employees are so very nice to you. Every time you go into the bank each one of them are so friendly & so eager to help in any way they can. Definitely recommend this bank to anyone for all your banking needs.

  I've been a member since 1979 and never has their phone system there has been worse. Who ever approved this mess should be ran off. Some days just getting the recording to answer is not gonna happen. Then try talking to a human. Bottom line, love the people but hate the phone system.

  This is a wonderful place for all your banking needs & a great place if you want to find a true friend. All the employees there are fantastic, they're always wearing a smile, ready & willing to help you in any way possible; they make going to the bank a pleasurable experience. You always leave with a smile on your face & warmth in your heart. I give Bowater Credit Union employees a huge"THANK YOU " for all that you do each & every day to make our lives a little more enjoyable by just being "YOURSELF".   It takes over 4 hours for the app to update and then u can't get cash out when u need it.

  I went every where to try and get a car loan i had good credit just this was my first big loan on anything and I couldnt get anyone to take a chance with me and let me prove myself to them. Then I got in touch with Bowater Credit Union They had me in a new car in moments no problem everyone is awesome at this bank I closed out my bank account with TEnnessee Valley after 6 Years and now do all my checking with Bowater. Great place and Great People.

  The drive through staff is more interested in what "we don't do that" attitude than providing customer service and listening to the customer to see if there isn't a way TO help. This has occurred on more than one occasion and I don't like order takers and negative ones at that. Full service means customer service also.

There are some limitations on services we can provide through the drive-thru, but if we ever can't solve a problem it should be with an attitude of kindness and with a full explanation.   Over the past month they've started holding everything in pending until I don't have any money in my account , then all pending transactions magically drop at the same time giving me one hell of an overdraft fee. I know its intentional because it never used to do that.

  Hello Christine, We are very sorry you've had a negative experience. If you give us a call at any branch, we can look at your account specifically and investigate what's going on. It's possible that what you are experiencing is a negative effect from a recent change from the Federal Reserve regarding how payments are processed. We, like all credit unions, are not-for-profit and our whole purpose is to serve our membership. I hope we get the chance to look at this in detail with you and see if we can figure out what's going on and help prevent it in the future.

  Iv'e only been a member a little over a year and a half, and everyone I came in contact with has giving me outstanding service. Hat off to Bowater credit union.

  Worse place ever around Christmas time they wanna say I owe them money when I have a savings account and can't over draw never using this bank again for this fact!!
