  Called last night to inquire if they gave estimates on the sale of medical equipment, i.e., wheelchairs, rollators, and bedside commodes so as to NOT waste my precious time. Was told, “YES!” Came in this morning to be told they do not buy these items and that the person answering the phone last night must be new. I’m looking at a wheelchair and rollator for sale right by the jewelry counter as this salesperson is unconcerned about solving this problem. NEVER coming back!!! This is a promise I WILL keep. No need for a response online since you failed me in person!

  We are very sorry you had a bad experience at our store. Big Pawn does not promise any loans over the phone. We must see the merchandise in order to evaluate if the item has any damage or blemishes that make it unsellable to the public. For all products brought to our store by customers requesting a sale or loan, a record is kept by employees with date, product type, and a reason for the refusal. In order for an item to be refused, 2 employees must reject the item. This is to help prevent any one employee from refusing merchandise that would be saleable. Our store is sometimes confused with other pawn shops located in Indiana who have rules and regulations that may differ from ours and that we have no control over. You may have called their store instead of ours. We have no record of refusing any wheelchair or medical equipment for any reason in the past year. If you or anyone have wheelchairs, walkers, or other equipment that are in good condition we are happy to consider a purchase or loan on those items.

  Had a great experience at Big Pawn. Bought a nice gold chain and medallion. Friendly and helpful people. Shoutout to Yolanda, the manager, and Tracy. You guys were awesome. I'll be back.

  They don't buy mint condition golf clubs, like new tvs with only mounts and no legs, battery powered music keyboards. I got jewelry to sell but I'll take my chances else where because I'm not sure what they actually buy.

  I come here for great used items at a huge discounts. The service is excellent and the selection of video games and tools have been great for my needs. Plus it's a great stop to shop at on my way to work. Many items are in good to almost new condition. The return policy is also very good. Before buying full price for something consider dropping by and see if you can get what you are looking for at a huge discount.

  For starters, THEY ONLY TAKE JEWELRY PRETTY MUCH! I’ve been here several times. There’s a loud, short dark lady that starts talking as you walk up. She never really comes to you until you tell her what you have...and she’s ready to say NO which she usually does. She’s not very personable and comes off extremely rude. All the cashiers are pretty flip-lipped so be prepared. The DO NOT ACCEPT list is pretty long... No Cameras unless it has 32GB or more No laptops No IPads, Pretty much NOTHING! So if you have another option and you DONT have JEWELRY, this place is a waste-of-time.

  This has to be the most Godawful Pawn Shop in the World. Female employee behind counter wearing a hair bonnet like she goes to Wal-Mart. The other one that tried to help me had a terrible attitude & made it clear the bad reviews this pawn shop are well earned. Save yourself some drama and go to the pawn shops further south on Indianapolis Boulevard. At least they are professional looking & cordial to their customers.

  Called to ASK If they sold music equipment... They HUNG UP 5 TIMES. (The first time I thought was a mistake... Disconnected? I politely asked if they sell pianos and they hung up.) Then after the second time I HAD to try again just to see why they were being insanely rude? 5th time a guy actually answered the question. Have no clue what the deal was. But I know where I WONT be going.

  Brought in my Nikon D5100 looking to get a loan for only $25, which the camera is worth a few hundred still. Came in around 4:48 on a Sunday before closing. Went in they were all lazy sitting down and one other laid across the couch then told them I needed a loan and I pulled my camera out and they were like “is it broken?” Because my lens wasn’t connected. These mfs slow asl turned it on and it worked perfect then told me the mega pixel is to low which is bs because I have pawned this camera plenty of times. He was so I’m a rush to leave he used that as an excuse to not do business. Maybe I should have looked at the reviews before coming no wonder you mfs will be at a 1 star soon 😂

  One star. The women there were really nice and helpful but two men behind the desk in the back were rude. I wanted to sell them a new guitar,but it was missing one string. They were selling the same exact guitar as mine, but theirs had a crack on the front of theirs and it looked kinda bad. Like I said, mines is new and they would not take mines because a string was missing and the guitar strings are like 2 or 3 bucks, they couldn't put a strong on there themselves? Really? I'm never going there again. Also I was waiting for service and it was my turn and this Chinese guy behind the desk that works there just looked at me. He didn't even tell me to hold on or anything,so I just left.Poor service.
